Tonights game against carolina proved it. He would of had a shutout if hartnell didnt collide with him. While boucher let in 5 goals. I like boucher too but we're better of with bryzgalov in the long run.

@18266609 Yes bryz does take the heat for it all the time. He is one of few that do that and i honor him for that, but still just taking the heat for it doesnt take back that he had 3 horrible games. He is the type to bounce back like in the game against carolina only letting in 1 goal even though it was not him fault at all and thats the good thing about him. I agree with you though about he will pay off in the long run for the flyers.

@Datsoccerkiid13 Yeah. A good example is tim thomas. The bruins are sucking and hes an amazing goalie. Even when we played the canuks luongo let in 5 goals and byrz let in 4. If the defense is sucking there isnt much hope for any goalie. Byrz hasnt been having luck either. The defelctions that get past him are ridiculous at times. He'll be back ontop we just gotta give him time to build confidence. As for boucher i been a fan of his since he was on the phantoms. He just doesent seem as good."

i really like Boucher, Philadelphia wasnt the fit for him with the goaltender issue by rotating Bobrovsky , Leighton and Boucher constantly, i think hes a real decent goalie, hes gonna be a good fit in Carolina backing up Ward, good luck this year Brian

i have a feeling the flyers will go best reccord in this season ccoming up. we have a rock sollid goalie who is highly reccomended, we have a very good defense that when healthy just may be the best in the nhl, and our offense is young and can foccuss on offense with this defence. now bring a cup home. bruins got one last year. cause they were the best defencive team on the east with the flyers defence being unhealthy. and goal tending stinking. this team looks pretty good on paper lets test it

It's got to be pretty humiliating to leave the ice that way. But Boucher just wasn't the answer for the Flyers in the playoffs. The team had even bigger issues, though.

despite all the shit he gets from fans and the bad goals he let in at times, its not entirely his fault. gotta kind of wonder where the hell defense can be at time slike this. he is a good goalie. he & bob did great during regular season. our offense started to lack in the end and our defense was even worse which in the end didnt help goaltending. still gonna miss him though.

I agree that Boucher is far from being the greatest goalie in the world. He let in a lot of bad goals, so I'm glad we traded him. But, I can't bring myself to hate him. Maybe because he loves the game so much and always keeps his head on the ice, no matter how poorly he performed...or maybe because he's cute lmao! I'll always love Boucher, no matter what team he's on. I think he'll be a great backup for the Hurricanes' goalie. Best of luck, Brian! Philly still loves you!
