  • i have the electric version of this

  • wow does it only turn right? that is the most boring driving I have ever seen. if your going to put a video out try to do something exciting other than driving in circles

  • What happens if the boat flips and Gets water sucked into the carb? :S

  • i saw this on craigslist

  • @aaronzack14 I sell one once in awhile on Ebay. I am selling my last of the fastest modified engine powered Miss Budweisers I own starting Feb. 20th 2011. It is UNGODLY powerful and not for a new RC boater. Built from all new parts from stem to stern with only one tankful of fuel to break-in the M-6 monster Zenoah G260PUM in the hull. It scares me and I have owned and driven many 1/8th scale Miss Budweisers. The poor economy forces me to part with it. I built this one as a KEEPER. TRULY BADASS!

  • @142morrow sweet, but is the west Lafayette Indiana craigslist yours?

  • @aaronzack14 Nope. I'm in Phoenix, Arizona. This boat will romp on ANY other 1/8th scale PROBOAT hydro hull for sale. Guaranteed.

  • @142morrow go to indianapolis craigslist, and type in rc boat, the dude said i could see it in action at this video...and no dip sherlock, i can tell its a beast just waiting to be released!!!!

  • So what's the equivalent speed in mph? It looks like its going about 30mph, so multiply that times 8 and you get 240mph. That's fast for the chipmunk they stuffed into the boat.

  • @BriceGX Did Jimbo's buddy ever get his Miss Llumar throwing some roost on the lake? I am listing one of my 1/8th scale Miss Budweisers on Ebay this week. End of summer closeout. lol

  • i prefer my 1/8th scale buggy its great fun and it also means i dont have to travel to use it

  • Hi Brice!

  • if you own a rc car or truck wich one do u think is better truck or boat

  • I like the boats because of the cool factor but a car or truck can be driven right outside your house. You have to travel to use the boat unless you live on a lake.

  • @marshallracing01 Helicopters are the funnest for the same reason. You can fly them at your house and they are as fast as you want to be for sure. Plus you can put floats on them and fly them off your house boat when you go to Powell.

  • what does the boat come with and what does it require.

  • The boat comes complete less fuel and batteries. Just requires careful operation.

  • thanx

  • @marshallracing01 I am listing a 1/8th scale ProBoat Miss Budweiser Hydro like this on Ebay this week. If it is not bought outright with Buy It Now I expect to see many bids on the boat. It won't be sold cheap.

  • This is nice to see someone else with the same boat as me. I also own a 1/8 rc miss bud gas boat.

  • Cool boats aren't they? I have a serious hydro problem. Too many boats and only 2 hands. Definitely an aquaholic. Do you have a 5b as your username suggests? Mine has been idle for a few months and I don't have any video of it in action yet. I will try to post some soon.

  • yeah i do have a hpi baja 5b ss with mods.

  • I love it!!!

Best is the Sound from 1:50 min on.

  • Thanks CR1ZZMO. I love it too!

  • When it's your thousand bucks on the water your adrenaline gets flowing" --- Amen Brother...so true.

  • wat een herrie man!

  • sweet boat how fast was it going?

  • 26cc

  • Aerodynamics. It is still not understood that controllable stability is obtained by substantially unbalancing aerodynamic forces to the rear of the craft. This has been demonstrated by, amongst others, F-15 etc. etc. and ALL the most successful land and water speed record holders.....sometimes at a fraction of the cost. Sponson walking will disappear altogether if this is understood and applied.

  • Sometimes even through pure ignorance the unwanted aerodynamic and hydrodynamic effects can be overcome by the judicious application of a handful of throttle and careful use of the steering wheel. Although not commonly understood, recreational R/C boat operation is sometimes accompanied by the unregulated influence of alcohol consumption which may or may not have an effect on the overall performance of the craft in question. Even the full scale boats get unstable in race trim with pro pilots.

  • Touche...

  • its deffinetly( i know i cant spell) a rush when its your boat out on the water, good shit

  • what if it flips? what do you do, go home? how would you get it???

  • well... you could swim out to it, use a boat, wait for the waves to push it in, or if your really ambitious you could try snagging it with a fishing pole.. Come on man you gotta use your head a little before you type LOL

  • Exactly. Weather permitting you can swim for it if it's close enough or use a raft or row boat to recover it. The usual retrieval method is to use an electric R/C boat with a tow line or a small floating ball attached to a fishing pole and cast beyond the stricken craft and snag it and reel her in. Would you turn around and go home with your $1000 toy stranded on the lake? The wind and wakes will also bring it home or further away. Ideally, with plenty of gas you don't have to worry.

  • lol u could put like a toy on it and fake it as loch ness =P

  • Seriously, a comment like that and your telling others to get a life??

  • lima,OH posing on craids list!

  • anyone want to buy my miss bud? used very little. i am too far from any lake big enough to run it. used it during vacations only. I plan to ebay it. on craigs list now #589698883you can contact me there.

  • I just bought one kinda like that one but 4-stroke engine for 414$ US off of ebay... the seller is allstarsalez. Search: "New Massive 1:6 Scale Champ Boat" (without the "") on ebay and it should be there... if not go back the next day... its a nice boat too... 65mph maximum speed on that thing!

  • Hey that looks cool. I'd like to know how it does for you and maybe see some video of it. Wanna race?

  • I'd love to race but well... I live in Northern Ontario (In Canada)... I'll post a video as soon as I can! right now our lake is kinda frozen so I can't use it but its a lot cheaper buying it in winter than summer since less people buy them... when I get it though I'll take a video of it probably. Just the main things on the boat though. This is going to be my first RC Boat... (I had a little electric jetski but it was slow!)

  • Gee, do you have any pictures of it? $54,000.00 seems like a bargain.

  • Sorry, it's been SOLD! Pending payment from a buyer on Ebay. Are you the last person left that has never heard of the site? I wasn't sure if Youtube would allow the use of the name.

  • This boat is now for sale effective 8/26/07 on a premier online auction site near you! Don't miss the chance to be the new owner!

  • fast boat? it won't be fast until you trade it in for electric or nitro. gas has no potential...

  • No potential? I supposed you commute in an electric vehicle?

  • what happens if it stalls or runs out of gas in the middle of the water what happens?

  • I use an electric R/C boat to drag a tow line to the disabled boat. Sometimes it's near enough to throw a tennis ball attached to fishing line and reel or you swim for it. Basically you try to have it running well and full of fuel before launching.

  • i hav a nitro cat with a .90 motor what fuel mix r u useing for the nitro motor

  • This one's got a 2-stroke gasoline engine.

  • Thank you. It'll go well in excess of 35 mph (the manufacturer's figure) depending on engine mods, tuning, prop selection, water conditions, etc. I still don't have any documented top speed but I don't think 45-55 mph is too much to hope for.

  • Awesome! How fast does it go?

  • Yep, It's a bone stock Proboat on it's first run after break-in on this video. This clip was after minor carb adj. for altitude and she still wasn't quite hittin' her stride. All stock mechanicals other than the crucial prop balancing and polishing. Haven't bounced the radar off this one yet but I'm very impressed with the stock performance. Looks fast huh? There's still lots more in her.

  • I can't quite tell, is this a Proboat Bud? With stock engine?

  • Very nice. When's the Modded Zenoah going in? ;)

  • Ha Ha! Yeah, Thank you. I'm always looking for upgrades and mods. I'm gonna have to thin down the fleet a bit to afford to get her really cookin' This was day one. Wanted to share video with relatives and others.
