Thank you so much for posting this video. Alberta Hunter was always one of my favorite singers. I'm so delighted to watch these videos but they also make me a little sad. Miss Hunter reminds me of so many people who helped shape my life. To think that they are longer here. When Miss Hunter sings "Old Fashioned Love" she is singing my anthem. I miss her dearly!

I remember her on 70's when she was preformed in a club the village NYC.

She would talk to the audiences like they were her children.

That was the Cookery, she actually lived upstairs. I went to see her about 3 times a year when I lived in NYC.

I had read about her when I lived in NY and a friend took me out on a date and we saw and spoke to Ms Hunter in the village in the seventies --She was gracious and it was so nice
