I have two of those also and i think mine are starting to give out :/ i've only had them for a year// like it doesnt wanna scan far like it only goes out 10 feet max werid eh?

it give more depth with the scanner because you can see it move across the room.

Nice job! Don't listen to the haters. I love your idea for the Backlit DJ booth too! Very creative. I'd use that. The kids would love it ( I do a lot of schools.) I learned a lot from your vid today about those lights. its the same effect just the LX10 has a mirror that moves so the moonflower bounces around the room, its a 10 dollar difference and i think it is more energizing with the movement.

If the LX10's are linked in Auto mode..do they repeat the exact same beginning pattern everytime they are turned on?

when you first turn them on they do this strobe for every second twice then they start moving and yes, they do the exact same memorized pattern. they do the same pattern in sound active just they move to the beat instead of automatic, hope this helps

I do small plays and need some lighting effects... Is this a good light for that? Also, how much better is it to get to instead of one?

if you do plays then your probly going to want some led par cans and a DMX controller, ebay has a lot of the popular chauvet and american dj ones pretty cheap. this is more of a effect light as projects a led gobo than moves across the room and its not very controllable but if it is what you what they are real cheap and great at what they do. keep watching because in a few days ill have 3 more light reviews up although they are also effect lights. inbox me if u need more help, thanks
