Are all the instrumentals that get released on Daptone under various names actually all the same musicians? They are all great but sound like the same bunch of guys.

@tonsils77 There's a fair amount of overlap in the musicians, but you can trust that most any Daptone record has Dave Guy on trumpet and Tommy TNT on guitar, plus random dudes from Antibalas or El Michel's Affair. The way the groups differ is on who comes up with the idea, and Budos is Tommy TNT's tribute to Nigerian music that blended Afrobeat and soul
