  • what's that black thing at the top of the truck next to the smoke stack?

  • @TheBrodra That's the air intake for the engine.

  • In the garbage vid is it the same driver as this vid?

  • @Binboy97 Yes same driver in this one and the garbage.

  • He could of picked up the glass or somebody can cut them selves he could get sewd

  • @ 2:33 He could go out and place the lid on top of the overload bin, it would at least do some less droppings or possibly none! Isnt that what L/E Cabs are design for situations like this or he a lazy one?

  • @Superiorpakfan I was actually thinking of closing that lid myself knowing what can happen when bottles are loaded up to the rim. I reckon they have the LE cabs in Mosman just because of all the parked cars, not particularly for these situations.

  • @MitchellM15 This driver is lazy @ 3:19 it would be alot faster to put those bins properly in line to make it convenient on loading them instead he backs up and forwards then backs up! and keeps the arm out to save the bin from falling... Mitch what is the purpose of a L/E Cab? lol

  • @Superiorpakfan haha He was picking them up when they were clumped for the camera, takes the challenge away by lining them up :D

  • @Superiorpakfan Yeh but they aren't paid to do that

  • @SitaEnvironmental paid to do what? Thats what the LE cabs are for. Being able to have easy access to set the bins up correctly trust me it saves time doing manually than what he was. Only URM ive seen them doing this. Nobody else

  • LOL you weren't happy with the shot around 2:00 where every bin had a nice crash with it?? haha well excellent vid my friend, seems to me like this truck's grabbers are tipped down a bit, don't see that too often on your guys' trucks (more commonly on like WM Amrep ASLs LOL)...What was that bin there in the bottom part of the shot at 2:41 (not the manual bins, which I'm assuming were for greens..?), that one to the left of them?

  • ***** YT of course in all its retardedness won't let me watch past 8:57 even though it's loaded completely...pissed about that but anyways nice work!

  • Oh well I guess there was a bit of crashing, maybe I expected a little too much eh? Yeh the driver's told me he has lost some bins in the hopper... especially when it's wet. Yep that one with the green is for greens and yeh, so were the manuals. I've had problems with watching whole videos before too... oh well should we be surprised about this? =]

  • Awesome Work! Looks like they had there greens collection on that day, do they just use the usual JP5 for Mosman?

  • Yeh greens was done in the area that Friday, was a fair bit out too and yep, the usual JP5.

  • SMASHY SMASHY great vid mitch. when will you be getting the greens collection in the near future?

  • I won't be getting the greens in Mosman, but I intend to get it Lane Cove when I'm there next week. They use the same trucks, and have the same manual collection system...

  • Man do I love the Acco, the new one is alright, but these older ones are straight up beautiful, especially as a low entry. And of course there's nothing like a garbage truck in the rain. Great vid all around, 5 stars and favorite!

  • Yeh I like the meaner look to the older model, the new one's still pretty cool with the different sound though. Thanks very much.

  • Nice one Mitch! Good to see that some drivers want to see the video's of them on youtube and that they don't tell you off. But this driver certainly did a good job, he was fast and collected well and handled well in the really narrow streets. I have to say, I will certainly miss the Mk4's along with the Mk3's as they are getting replaced with GenV's. MacDonald Johnston say that the GenV arm is the fastest arm around, however these Mk4's are very fast, probably faster than some new GenV's!

  • Yeh it seems that almost all of the URM guys have wanted to be on YouTube! lol There's definitely some arms out there faster than the GenVs, maybe not as smooth, but hell fast! A shame to see the MkIVs going, MkIIIs seem almost extinct! - guess we'll be saying the same about the GenVs when they are taken over by a new generation...

  • AWESOME! a big thanks for goin out in the poor weather! for a very cool colection! i like the tight streets he was in nearing the end. 5*s n fav!

  • Thanks. I would've gone out regardless of what the weather was like... even if there was a hurricane!!! lol Was waiting too long to not get out there for the videos, had to get it over and done with. You should see another of the cul-de-sacs from Mosman which I'll be posting soon, biggest bitch of a pick-up...

  • Awesome mitch cant wait (did u get the greens in action )

  • Unfortunately not.

  • That was fun to watch i saw those 2 drops of rain well in every life a little rain must fall just the way it is.He is good at those bins!!!5 Stars

  • at 9:00, LOL i wonder how he would fit. When the driver pulled into the driveway at that house, where the residents alright with it?

  • haha Who knows if they were cool with it, what they don't know won't hurt! hehe Generally you're not supposed to do that in a lot of councils, but just makes it a hell of a lot easier for the drivers.

  • Yup!

  • Crazy thunder in the begging!

  • Awesome footage! Keep these up! Also, what size is that cart at 7:14???

  • That's our tiny 80L size, smaller than 32g.

  • ok, so how many gallons is it???

  • 80L bins are 21 gallons

  • Thanks for clearing that up. I need to understand this liter to gallon stuff.

  • No worries. I've got it mastered. Just did some googling to find out :D

  • Yes, that would work lol.

  • Great Work!

  • awsome

  • At 2:32 it kinda like why do we need garbage truck when can drop it on the street i mean just get out and pick it up!

  • shet that lifter is super fast, great find awesome

  • The driver was telling me he had to slow it down before too!

  • Great video mate, 10/10 well done and great catch and cant wait for city of Ryde Videos
