  • is a software problem! update it to the 4.0.2 odin and the problem will be erase!

  • @ruk1990 im got the 4.0.2,and the bug there is still...

  • Just switch off the display while gaming and back on and it works perfectly.

  • Don't use an application with resolution don't adapte 8-)

If you use the option "curso" in settings/developer, the multitouch works perfectly !

  • This issue is related to the amoled screens if i'm not mistaken.. It has to do with the digitizer reseting or something when the screen gets hot. So if it occurs, you can easily fix it by turning off the screen for a moment, and turing it back on, and all will be normal again. As far as I know, I don't think this can be fixed with a software update, but hey, you never know :]

  • what software version is that galaxy nexus on? I'm on 4.0.3 and can't replicate the touch screen issues that he's having in the video.I've used every multi touch app in the market. Maybe just an issue with earlier versions of ICS? I have a GSM gnex btw.

  • @nory826 i don't think its on the GSM galaxy nexus but the verizon one has this problem

  • @MrAbood900 I had the GSM so the both version have this problem

  • @CsEditorVer213 oh then maybe they will fix it later :)

  • I had this problem for a little bit of time, my phone was also randomly rebooting. However, I fixed it by uninstalling all apps that tweaked the phone (like Juice Defender). Maybe that's something to try, not all apps are optimized for ICS & the ones that tweak the phone may cause other issues.

Hopefully this helps and you don't have a faulty phone, my runs perfectly now. Im running stock rom, bootloader locked and no root.

  • You'd think they would have learned from the Nexus One...

  • @tropmonky They nexus on was still a great device. It was probably the fastest phone of 2011 except for maybe the Droid X. AND it got all the updates like 2 months before any other phone

  • @DrTrevorP For sure, it's still my main device and with CM7 is wonderful. I'm very tempted to get a GSM Galaxy Nexus, but just can't justify the cost right now because my N1 is still doing great.

  • used a different app from what you're using, and have no problems. seems like the issue is with the app you're using. move along, nothing to see here.

  • @oscillik Afraid that's not the case. It's not the TESTER that's having the issues, but the games. Try a multi touch game like Pew Pew, you'll notice the right stick goes dead while using the left stick. THEN you'll have the issue, and you'll see it in the test app, until you turn the screen off.

  • works just fine using Multitouch Visible Test on the market.

  • @CsEditorVer213 I'm assuming you have the GSM Variant right? I have the same problem with my CDMA Variant and I made a video on this too, I posted it as a video response here...

  • I can use ten fingers without any problems

  • i have also a galaxy nexus but i dont have any problems with multitouch on any MT app on the market

  • I have exactly the same issue dude. However, once I reboot the phone, it would work flawlessly...

so I assume it is not your device, but more likely software problem. Hope Google takes some quick actions regarding this issue

  • @Stibuuuu okey but mine got super hot and then I had to pull battery and wait so something was wrong with mine :( Hopefully I will have my new galaxy nexus soon :)

  • I think it is something wrong with my device, it gets really hot and then multitouch stops working and you have to lock the phone and wait and then unolock it.

  • its the app not the phone that make problems!

  • I managed to use 6 points and move them around without a problem but I was using another app.
