Is it just me or did the Old demos look more impressive then the new ones? And dows anyone know where to download the old ones from, the old ATI website is long gone and i cant find them. useto really enjoy the ATI Bactiria demo

It's sad that you won't get such great effects with more recend cards. I've tried to run it on HD4890 and the graphics are simplified. It looks okay but there are no detailed shadows casted on Ruby's face. I guess those techdemos aren't backward compatible. I find it intriguing and hard to justify at the same time. Okay, understand that Radeon's Ark may not look as good on today's cars as on original Radeon R100s (and indeed it doesn't) , but The Assasin isn't really that old...

It just depends on what model laptop you buy. Some may come with one of these two cards, some are upgradable.

Sorry a laptop graphics card is not upgradeable. And in your case, not even replacable because the Shiteon Shitspress series are integrated.

lol thanks to responding to a year old question my laptop mother board is fried but oh well i built me a lovely gaming machine so yea thanks though :D
