  • i agree with u guys that u dont understand Amdo dialect. but of course you can read Tibetan as a subtitle below the screen if you are a Tibetan.

  • In amdo dialact, it prounced little bit different from formal writen language. Tibet, in Amdo dialact it pronounced Wod, in Utsung dilact it is Pod. Of course we all understand with ease if both speak in more formal or writen Tibetan.

  • yeah in Amdo and parts of Kham, the letter Sha is pronounced Hya.

  • In Amdo dialect, is pa(dp'a) pronounced hwa as in hwao(pawo) hwamo(pamo)? I think this girl is just adorable.

  • Silly question, but I have found that in Amdo they pronounced "picture" (par) Hwar, which I would assume for a spelling dpar, but I think its just par. Do you know about this?
