how would you say the animation program at SCAD is? because i'm a senior and im trying to decide what college to go to. Im definatly going for animation. I have the portfolio ready.. SVA is my first choice but their so expensive..

@ghostie7790 its a good program, you may want to also look at full sail if its in your area. plenty of very talented people have come out of their program. Theres also animation mentor which is an online program that is really solid.

@ghostie7790 also look at Ringling. The 3D animation that comes out of there is awesome. Just look at the examples on the their website.

yea, my 3d stuff was very floaty back then. took some time for me to learn to animate it as if it was 2d, that helped a lot.

yup, it was a rotoscope project we had to do. Everyone in the class had a separate piece of the music video and had to animate it their own way. Did mine in flash, very rough, came out pretty well i thought.

Is SCAD better in atlanta or in savannah?

I would vote savannah has the better facilities, and professors, depending on what you wanna do. Atlanta is still growing, im sure its gotten better since ive been there, but im still thinking savannah is the best bet. hope that helps

It was an assignment i had to do at SCAD for my animation 2 class, you may be lookin at alot of scad reels if you seen it elsewhere. that or its just a pretty funny line =)

Lol, that was great man! Especially the last part. I can't wait until I go to SCAD next year in the spring or the summer. Im a animation and sequential art major and minor. Good luck in the future. And don't forget the name Sharod, It'll be something big one day. Peace. :)
