  • niice cover

  • niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice

  • Another awesome song...my other favorite band. =D

  • dude any chance of tabbin this

  • That is exceptional, and dare I say, better than Phil Lynott. Very nice, I wish I could do that on my bass, my version sounds like crap !!!!!!

  • Excellent video. I have just joined another band and was really please to see Waiting for an Alibi on the setlist and this has helped me to learn it. Excellent sound from your bass ( is it a Ripper or a Grabber ?? ) It looks awesome and so different from the normal Fender stuff etc

  • It's a 1976 Ripper. I think you're supposed to play this song a half step down, because you can't hit the lowest note on the main riff, so I'm actually playing that note an octave up in this video. It still sounds ok I think, besides I'm usually too lazy to retune for one song ;)

  • Hi, yes that's the thing with Thin Lizzy all the guitars are tuned to Eb so it makes playing along to the original a bit difficult without re-tuning. This new band also play Don't Believe a Word which I have also just learnt ( seems relatively straight forward ) Thanks for the help.

  • Lizzy's got a bunch of great songs... it's too bad everyone just knows The Boys Are Back. Don't Believe a Word, Rosalie, CHinatown, Hollywood, Cold Sweat, Bad Reputation, Angel of Death, Alibi, The Sun Goes Down... all awesome stuff.

  • your taste of music is gooood, thin lizzy rocks , all youre other bass covers rocks to , i like how you doin it , playin the bass by ear.!!!
