They are attacking the police and creating a pretext for massive use of teargas etc. in order to end demonstration. @hob976 You are on your right mind asking these questions!50,000 or even 100,000 out of the millions of Greeks in Athens does not convince me that most Greeks don't want these reforms and to get back to a better life with their countries finances improving. The only people who are protesting are the public employees who have more to lose with their gold plated pensions paid at 58 while private workers have to continue for many more years after and have never had the guarantee of a long term job.

@hob976 hence the expression BAILOUT...there is no high interest rates for the Greek government! Only some compromises like leasing island's economy... or mainly productive hard work! If the Greek government listen to these protesters they could ruin the futures of the majority of Greeks who realize that hard work will achieve stability
