Using less crome accents in the front, Giving more definite design character & luxury in the front centre console, & cleaning up the flow of lines in the the rear quarter so that there is 'continuation of lines', could have truly made this car outstanding. As it is now, it is not good enough. Especially, the the back half of vehicle looks way too busy & unbalanced bcus of the different lines that do not flow into the other in a natural & effortless way. Learn for Lexus, Merc, &b BMW, etc...
Well I'm a little dubious of your design critique, especially seeing you dont think the rears of the 5 series and previous model 7 series are fugly. Even the 3 series sedan with those round bubbly rear lights. I agree with you that Lexus and Mercedes have their designs down to a fine art, but beamers arent very easy on the eye if you ask me. Granted the newer models are better as Chris "The Destroyer" Bangle isn't designing BMWs anymore thank the high heavens.

I only talked about what makes a good design & pointed out the faults found in the New Equus, & suggested that the design could be improved to higher standard if they learned some things from the Lexus/BMW/Merc.
No the regular people on youtube don't know much about design... but the point of designing a car is to make it attractive in the consumers eyes and from the comments, it seems like they succeeded in that sector... so what if it doesn't follow traditional design characteristics..
