i love the story in the game but the money system is such bullshit. I'm trying for this achievement, i ran over about 50 people - $200 worth of injuries, literally totaled 30 cars - $4000 of vehicle damage, destroyed everything on dozens of streets(street lights, benches, signs, etc.) - $3000. Total - $7200+bullshit=this achievement

I'm going for the get 5 stars for all cases achievement (first play through on PC) so far so good.

But my question is, can I go back to an earlier case that I have 5 stars on and do this (which will give me 0 stars as said) and still keep my 5 stars for that case or do I have to do it again after I get the achievement to get it back to 5 stars.

And does doing this on an earlier case after I've gotten 5 stars on it mess up my attempt at all 5 star cases achievement?

@WolfeBane84 yea you can. if you had a 5 star case and played again, you'd still have 5 stars. but if you had a one star and replayed it with 5 stars, the five stars would stay. how are the graphics on the PC version by the way?

when i did this this case i figured that if i went to get the dusenberg (the fastest and more importantly the most expensive car in the game) and crashed a few of them it should get me the trophy, funny thing was i must have crashed more than i thought as i ended up with $180,000 worth of damage lol.

when it got to the end screen and my total figures came up i waited until my trophy appeared and then quit, that way i didnt have to register the one star rating i achieved.

So i was going back and forth in 2 rare cars blowin them up and stuff for lile half an hour then i continued my case, then it saved when i got into my car then lile 5 seconds after it i accidently "contaminated the crime scene" do i lose all my progress towards the achievment and have to start over.

@DrkOCAngel It depends. When I got 'The Naked City' I had just started on the Vice desk. Then, after doing a case, it immediately started the 'The Naked City.' BUT: I also got 'Nicholson Electroplating' AFTER I finished the whole game, THEN, I went to the cases menu, went to Arson, and selected it and then I could play it by just selecting continue on the main menu and selecting right save. So it all depedends on how far you are into the game and the desk that the DLC is on. Hope I helped, :-D

My dad's way too serious when he watched how I was driving in the game when I was going for this trophy. He keeps complaining on and on about why I'm not careful while I'm driving and whether I have enough skill to drive. I told him it's just a game, I was getting this trophy and that I'm not the kind of person who'd do reckless driving IRL and in the game, but he still complains anyway thinks I'm an irresponsible driver just from how I've been playing.

Just for the reference - Dusenbeg costs $25000 and the fire truck costs $12459. Also Buick ambulance is quite expensive - $3195, Cadillac V16 Convertible - $5350 and Lincoln Model K Convertible Roadster - $4700
