Amazon has composition books which are blank...no lines. I have painted right on a single page in my comp book. Let it dry and them shit it with another book on it to flatten the page back out. Works great with acrylics.

You aremy new favorite youtube art journalist. I tried your watercolor with cling wrap and loved it.After finding out you have to gesso first. I have a question. Are the Portfolio water solubles waterproof and/or smudge proof once dry? Thanks for answering! Hugs

I'm new to altering things. I'm kinda into collaging. I'm having the worst time with my paper bubbling up. What can I do or use to lay my paper down without it puckiering? I've been trying mod podge and not having the best luck. Also I would like to paint over wood without seeing the brush strokes what product should I use? I tried some cheap acrylic paint but it didn't work. Maybe it should have been more opaque?

This video really helped me out!  lol!.......... By the way, is there a difference between Clear Gesso and the regular Acrylic Gesso? I thought that there was one type of Gesso. lol! Thank you Paula and I love all your videos--- so fun to watch! : )

@KARLAS001 Hi Karla, lots of people like 90lb or higher wc paper, others use poster board... check out the paper section and see what you like the feeling of. You will want a heavyweight paper though. I hope that helps a little!
