If I went to space, here's how it would go:

I would use the Space Shuttle Atlantis to go and find the City-Ship called Atlantis then use their stargate to gate back home and then I will just go home.

NASA's 2008 budget is only 17 billion. That's 0.6% of the US federal budget. Meanwhile the US military's budget is over half a trillion.

In space, I would scream, first thing. And then I'd play with magnets for at least 2 hours.

In 10-20 years, I don't think we'll be very far because the space program's funding has been cut. The US military's funding is gianormous, like trillions. The space program used to get lots! But now they get tiny bits. If they funded the space program more, we'd be to Mars in like 10 years. But now we have to wait a lot longer so they can save in their piggy banks.

Also, Ninten needs moon shoes.

It's really sad that nobody cares about space any more =[ Like 50 years ago everyone would have been freaking out.

Also, FYI, there IS an edge to the universe. We (used to at least) are able to see the edge. But it's always expanding, and it's difficult to keep up with it - it's REALLY far away, and our limited budget telescopes can only see so far.
