Really liking the sound of the pickups in series. I have a Danelectro that does that.

If I were to get a Telecaster, this would probably be the one. This and the Deluxe Nashville Telecaster are the most versatile Telecasters around.

Best YT demo of this guitar that I've seen. Your playing is just fine - sensible to pick the kind of rhythm work that most people choose a Tele for. It's a relief from the usual dumb US college kid "Look at me, I can't play solos" wank masquerading as a guitar "demo". And wow, we actually hear what the pickup positions sound like. Has made up my mind I think - I'm getting a Baja.

Just got one from Sounds Live in Newcastle, awesome cheapo Axe, never had a tele before and the neck fits my hands like a glove, struggled for years with les paul necks, and they just didn't fit, obviously this is a completely different sound, but one I really like, play mine through a 15 watt laney vc15 amp, with a ce-2 long dash silver screw, bf-2 and ph-2 short dash black label jap pedals, sweet little rig.

Blonde.

The Baja only comes in 2 or 3 colours. Blonde (with black guard), Desert Sand (white guard) and if you can find one, a limited edition Lake Placid Blue finish with black guard.

I bought a Baja in Lake Placid Blue too, and it is a real Baja (with a Baja serial number, Baja pickups(CS Broadcaster and Twisted Tele) , "Fender Telecaster Classic Player Baja Custom Shop" on it, and a Baja huge neck).

Only problem is the LPB Baja is more expensive than the others two.

I tried the baja tele and I opted to go with the American standard tele just because I thought the baja neck was a little chunky for my liking. I did like the S1 switching on it though, great tone.
