lamellar, brigandine, coat of plates and such are an ideal type of armor. it was used in virtually all time periods and locations covered by SCA and various foam fighting groups, it's lightweight, effective, cheap, easy and (most of all) COMFY. yes, it's a lot of punching and cutting, but 1 weekend spent punching holes and cutting plates can reduce your total armor cost by A LOT.
how much would a black amor like that but with lamellar upper shoulder and upper legs cost? oh and its got to be thick leather. im 6ft tall. if that helps. i need it for larp
