Okay, first off way too long for two players, second the quality of the Zune video was worse than the iPod that's not fair. I've had 2 Zen's now I have an iPod but I think all mp3 players that play the music well are good.
"second the quality of the Zune video was worse than the iPod that's not fair." And how is that my fault? The Zunes screen is a lot darker then iPod screen, so the camera couldn't focus on it properly.
Oh, I be pointin' no fingers m'lad, I was only pointing out that the Zune might stand a better chance in a lighter environment, I know you can't control how the camera films it. I wish I would have made myself clearer but I was doing it all in touch typing which makes me very slow and it was just a painful experience and I just wanted it to end. Sorry for making it seem like I was ragging I just critique the video not the creator. Basically I was just commenting on what I noticed.
Nope, Zune 80 Costs exactly $249.99 just like the iPod Classic (with 80 Gb of storage). And since I had the Zune, I think you will still be better of with an iPod, unless of course you want Fm radio.
You are funny, A don't know what a tasteless idiot would buy a Zune. BTW I didn't buy one, I Won one so... Zune does nothing better than the iPod. It does everything worse.
iPods front is as fingerprint resistant as Zunes. iPods back doesn't even bug me at all. Large screen with crappy resolution. Wireless sharing with nobody.
Back does bother many if not most people, seeing fingerprints is not a good thing. - No, not that any of the 20 people i know who own an iPod.
Well, larger screen, same resolution, most people prefers the larger screen. - No, they say It's too pixelated and untrue colors (Not to mention they are mostly graphic designers, video editors and other kinds of artists)
Imagine a 30 inch HDTV at 1080p, and a 50 inch 1080P HDTV, which is better? - the one that is 50, but with higher resolution then 1080
Menus backgrounds are customizable, thats about it, but its menus are good enough to not need customization. - No, I need customizable menus
And the sound is better on the iPod classic because it doesn't have the annoying Electrical interference sound in the background when the Hard Drive is spinning (like it is on a Zune).
Zune devotes a lot more of its size to the screen, and in case you like to watch movies in your portable media player, i defenetly recomend you Zune. if you prefer playing games and stuff, by all means buy ipod
Yeap, I got that from a friends Zune. I like those songs BTW.
If you want to use such features as - External HD, Clock, Games etc. all extra features, better Syncing (In case of iPod Touch - Bigger screen, fun to use) than get an iPod. If you Like big screen with no too good screen resolution, without all extra features (including clock), but with a durable case and nice UI, than get a Zune. If you want to know, what the Zune feels like, watch my video "Zune feelings".
one question is the zune's clickwheel loud? I know that may sound like a stupid question but I don't want to distract people when I'm trying to listen to music.

is there something wrong with them or are they anoying to use?
rrrandommman 3 years ago
The build quality is not as good. The Screen might look bigger, but it very pixelated and not too bright, which makes it bad.
Minimum91 3 years ago
are they more expensive than an ipod of similar storage ?

Nope, Zune 80 Costs exactly $249.99 just like the iPod Classic (with 80 Gb of storage). And since I had the Zune, I think you will still be better of with an iPod, unless of course you want Fm radio.

Anything the iPod does the Zune does better. I don't know why anyone would buy an iPod, it's an inferior product.

yednogra 3 years ago
Gapless playback, More organized UI, Video Playlists, Volume Limit, Customizable Menus, Movie chapter Recognition.
Sorry, that was quite a bit more than 1 thing, but I'm sure I missed a few more features.
Minimum91 3 years ago
the Zune does that better
henhillen 3 years ago

and the Zune according to many users including reviewers online say it sounds better, its UI is just as good, and menus are somewhat customizable.
cr9527 3 years ago
well menus are not customizable at all, I can say that 100%.
Minimum91 3 years ago
well, the average youtuber disagrees, look at his comments rating.
The Zune does do many things better than ipod.
1. Fingerprint resistant.
2. Large screen (almost twice the size)
3. Wireless sharing.
the rest are similar.

LOL, you have Zune Gems on the iPod!!!!! :D
Just found that kind of funny. :-)
Also, I have been debating over and over whether to get an iPod or Zune... help!

The iPod has ONE button, and the Zune has TWO. This is a common difference between Microsoft and Apple: Apple can design a UI with only one button.
Sims2789 3 years ago
Well Ok, but actually, if we talk about physical buttons than - iPod has 5, Zune has 3.
Minimum91 3 years ago
?doesnt zune have 7? ipod has the fag wheel tho
yednogra 3 years ago
Nope, Zune 80 has 3 buttons (if we are talking about actual physical buttons). What do you mean fag wheel? The fag wheel is awesome to use.
Minimum91 3 years ago
its illogical, and can only be understood via some sort of instructions.
because both going clockwise or counterclockwise, you still are moving both Up and Down depending on the place on the circle.

Zune - for the screen and the UI, and the good feel to it.
iPod for being more customizable + Extras + External HD.
