Zune/iPod UI Comparison

Okay, first off way too long for two players, second the quality of the Zune video was worse than the iPod that's not fair. I've had 2 Zen's now I have an iPod but I think all mp3 players that play the music well are good.

Oh, I be pointin' no fingers m'lad, I was only pointing out that the Zune might stand a better chance in a lighter environment, I know you can't control how the camera films it. I wish I would have made myself clearer but I was doing it all in touch typing which makes me very slow and it was just a painful experience and I just wanted it to end. Sorry for making it seem like I was ragging I just critique the video not the creator. Basically I was just commenting on what I noticed.

The build quality is not as good. The Screen might look bigger, but it very pixelated and not too bright, which makes it bad.

Nope, Zune 80 Costs exactly $249.99 just like the iPod Classic (with 80 Gb of storage). And since I had the Zune, I think you will still be better of with an iPod, unless of course you want Fm radio.

Anything the iPod does the Zune does better. I don't know why anyone would buy an iPod, it's an inferior product.

The Zune does do many things better than ipod.

1. Fingerprint resistant.

2. Large screen (almost twice the size)

3. Wireless sharing.

the rest are similar.

iPods front is as fingerprint resistant as Zunes. iPods back doesn't even bug me at all. Large screen with crappy resolution. Wireless sharing with nobody.

Well, larger screen, same resolution, most people prefers the larger screen. - No, they say It's too pixelated and untrue colors (Not to mention they are mostly graphic designers, video editors and other kinds of artists)

And the sound is better on the iPod classic because it doesn't have the annoying Electrical interference sound in the background when the Hard Drive is spinning (like it is on a Zune).

Zune devotes a lot more of its size to the screen, and in case you like to watch movies in your portable media player, i defenetly recomend you Zune. if you prefer playing games and stuff, by all means buy ipod

Yeap, I got that from a friends Zune. I like those songs BTW.

If you want to use such features as - External HD, Clock, Games etc. all extra features, better Syncing (In case of iPod Touch - Bigger screen, fun to use) than get an iPod. If you Like big screen with no too good screen resolution, without all extra features (including clock), but with a durable case and nice UI, than get a Zune. The iPod has ONE button, and the Zune has TWO. This is a common difference between Microsoft and Apple: Apple can design a UI with only one button.

Zune - for the screen and the UI, and the good feel to it.

iPod for being more customizable + Extras + External HD.
