Ok im new to this stuff but im doing what you do in the video but i can't make it go behind the Avatar can somone anyone help me plz idk if i am not supose to do it with a pic or what but i am trying to make this hair i have in mind and i can do it.

Umm So You Want Have To Use The "Free Select Tool" To Smoothn Out Your Avi's Head And Other Body Parts I Suggest *Hiresnobg In The Imvu Catalog It Works WONDERSS!! It Appears Clear,Smooth,& Pixels Free :D

@Thisistheplcetobe Yeah, I know, but this video was made so long ago that I'm sure we didn't even have that option at the time xD Or at least barely anyone knew about it... But thanks anyway :D

Also, even if you use *Hiresnobg, you may need to smooth it out because most of the imvu products are very... Pointy and such, haha xD

when you change the whites to dodge and the copacity to 60. it doesnt work for me :/

@MissSophz14 Umm... You could try doing it a different way then. Set that layer as Overlay or Soft Light (see what will work best) and then on a new layer, draw thinner lines and set them as dodge...

I THINK that should work :]

@NadiaBear1 You create a layer under your avatar... Or you can create it above, draw your ouutline and move it under the avatar layer... Your choice completely :3

@NadiaBear1 Well, you can either finish your selection (complete the cricle- or whatever shape... :3) And then go Select > None, or you can simply pick up a different tool, and it should disappear... :)

As im doing the 1st step, which is to neaten the edges, trying to cut but its not cutting? after i use the free select tool :(

@Modesty4eva When you select whatever you want to cut, you have to join the last dot with the first one, to make a proper selection. When that's done, you do ctrl+x :)

@sharielys123 that's basically just making the edges look nice... Many people simply use the eraser, but to me, it looks really untidy...

The first step is not necessary though, so don't worry :)

@sharielys123 What I do is, I make the base layer and put it UNDER the avatar layer, and then the others ( like the fringe, etc.) I put above it :)
