@philandeth Actually, Lenin himself belonged to the 'intelligentsia' and he most certainly wanted to overthrow the Tsar and suceeding Provisional Government.The 'socialist reform' Lenin and the Bolsheviks were seeking could not co-exist with the autocratic state of Russia. it is impossible to usher in Socialism through reform into a capitalist system. They wanted Nicholas gone!

Richard Pipes didn't live in the Czars times. He was pro soviet union, that says enough. Soviets rewrited Russian history themselfes and destroyed our culture. All these theories of Richard Pipes aren't all true.

yea it was it could not produce as many weapons as other countries...2/3 men were wihtout guns in WWI and they couldnt mass produce anything, stalin modernized it later...the peasents were poor...but they didnt care and i mean pipes is righting historically with no personall views

The army was already modernized & armed but with its internal politcal problems the warfare economy couldn't keep up. The peasants weren't poor, the commies made them poor by starving millions and taking their posessions. In Stolypins reforms peasants had a good life. Pipes is righting historically like the bolsheviks wrote it. Bolsheviks rewrited everything of our history and destroyed any trace of Russian culture. My family lived through every war, revolution in Russia. They know better!

ok i agree that stolypins reforms were good..thats why we say that when he was killed, any hope of squashing a revolution was demolished...watch the rest of our videos and youll see that we arnt for the bolsheviks and neither was pipes...he doesnt give them any credit

Russia had a very well armed army and newest technology of weapons well known in the whole world. Some armies still carry the Mosin Nagant. It was the bad logistical support that didn't work because of the internal bolshevik problems.
