This is the Church of Pentecost. We have myriads of different district and location. This particular event in question happens to be our annual conference where by all the district from all over the US congregate to praise and worship God.

Cont..It is also hypocritical to say that they're not dancing for the Lord when in fact they are! I do TRULY believe in receiving the holy ghost BUT when some people shout, they do NOT shout for real! They make their own dance steps! I LOOVE these youth dancing off of Tye Tribbett(in which Tye Tribbett does some of these same moves and I LOVE this song by Kirk Franklin also)! At my church, the R.E.A.L.Youth Ministries is so much FUN at Mountaintop Faith Ministries in Las Vegas,NV! We have FUN!

@AjLVChi Thank you very much for your reply. It is a shame how some people try to deteriorate the passion we the youth have for God. Who said that worshiping God cannot be fun? It should be.

I LOOOVE THIS!!! This is what I'm talking about!!! Dancing for Jesus!!! Y'all were jammin!!! See, some people ask them selves at times, "How come there aren't many youths wanting to receive Christ" or "How come they're just sitting there?" See, you have to make church FUN for the youth! Of course many youths shout and praise the Lord, in which some do more than the adults, but I do not see what's wrong dancing MODERNLY for the Lord! Church is supposed to be FUN; NOT boring and drawn out!!!!

@AjLVChi Thank you. That is the misconception that a plethora of people Christians included. They think that worshiping God ought to be boring. I do not agree with that and I support your reason. The youth need to have fun in the Lord.

@jobhunt11 If you read the rest of the passage form 2 Samuel 6 vs 14 -23. You will learn that Michal the daughter of Saul became barren because of what she said when she saw David dancing to glorify the LORD. I believe that they danced to glorify the Lord. Please do not become Michal.

You should all be ashamed dishonouring the Lord with your earthly dance. I am a white christian and feel very dismayed seeing your dance as a white church will never dishonour the lord in this way.

2 Samuel 6:14 Tells us that King David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod...and as the ark of the Lord came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through the window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart.

So I think it is perfectly fine to dance in glorification of the Lord if that is ur intention. Remember Matthew 7 vs 1 says do not judge or you will be judge.

@BOATENGJUNIOR YES!!! EXACTLY!!! David danced for the LORD so I DO NOT see what's wrong with the way that they're dancing! It's not like they're doing dance moves that are inappropriate! I guess I have to pray for people who are too "churchy" or too "moral" to see that this indeed is a celebration for the Lord and that this indeed is a dance for the Lord! This is also a way that will enhance more youth to want to receive the Lord in their lives! BTW: What's the name of this church!?

um...good dancing....but, why can't we christian teens stop coping the world!.....i mean Jesus should be enough for us......and our father is the creator of the world! i think he has given us some creative minds to glorify him without doing the same thing the world does....sorry...i just had to say that....

The Bible says that we should dance and glorify the Lord. It never made mention of the type of dance that is biblically accepted. I do understand your point of view; nonetheless, I think if you dance the earthly dance in the house of the Lord and your main objective is to glorify the Lord, then it is OK.

yes, the bible says we should dance TO glorify the Lord......not to entertain teens....see there is a big difference when they are doing it FOR the Lord and when they are doing it to entertain teens...because you feel it, you see it, it doesn't matter what kind of dance it is, let's get people to say "wow..they have something special...i want that" when they see you, not just "wow! look how great they move!"..be honest....what does God thinks about it? please...and...um..don't get mad at me...
