you guys have to remember that this is nikon's first brave step merging an slr and a video camera while still attempting to retain high image quality. i think they have a little bit more tweaking to go in order to be up to par with canon's hv30. and when that comes, boom: nikon ftw.

I see they also took great care panning and zooming so to hide the rolling shutter artifacts!!!

This camera should capture light a lot better than conventional of the shelf video cameras.
