  • Shut up and take my money!!

  • thumbs up for FN fal

  • He got a Second Chance!

  • that 44 is sick and sounds sick

  • @BruceJBCpaintball If u have a bullet proof vest u won't go down ya actually makes perfect sense

  • F that shit lol I'd be so nervous

  • @BP0932

Absolutely! Armour or no armour, the potential for something to go wrong seems way to high.

  • who wears short shorts that guy wears short shorts

  • "a bullet does not knock you down, your reaction to the bullet knocks you down" he's actually right :)

  • I just saw Richard Davis last month. He's still walking.

  • 5:45 HUMMM!

  • 0:40 i need a pair of those shorts

  • Dumb asses

  • 5:10 I hate that 5:50 be careful Rifle pointed at his balls

  • Okay so if I'm a mile away and I fire a 50. Caliber bullet and it hits you from a mile away you're not going down? Makes perfect sense.

  • @BruceJBCpaintball That is a completely different scenario. The kinetic energy transferred from a .50 cal BMG to a target at that distance would be substantial, in fact very devastating. Do you see the graphic image i am painting?Thank You.

  • 2:30 would've been funny if he fell a second time but didn't get up again

  • This video needs more shorts.

  • A ricochet could take off your pecker. Probably worst than being killed.

  • Richard Davis is still around, and his family line is still making body armor. Feel free to check out yet another video of a Davis taking a bullet - this time his son, Matt Davis - CEO of Armor Express. Thank you!

  • OK I HAVE SEEN ENOUGH... 4:12

  • So I guess an AK47 wouldn't do much to it either? Why isn't US Army employing him? Politics I suppose?

  • These guys still around? Man that's some balls, even if you're positive it will work.

    Sent by Military Arms Channel!

  • So. There's a shit ton of body armor FAR superior to Interceptor. Thanks.

  • Took it like a Boss...

  • @theduke502 what boss would take a shot?, normally left to the minions.

  • @crocop4life A real boss handles his own business :D. That takes guts to confirm the product you're selling by shooting yourself with a magnum. Usually manufacturers would put the BA on a stand inside a chamber and shoot at it from a safe distance.

  • I suppose I shouldn't gripe about bad gun safety when they're shooting themselves ^_^

  • yeah, that guy is rocking those 70's glasses, t-shirt 3 sizes to small and his wifes shorts. lol

  • @JDsgreatz28 "WHO WEARS SHORT SHORTS!"

  • darwin award winning video clip

  • @tprdfh51 LMAO i have nothing to say to you your a dumbass depleted uranium ammo

was made to penetrate body armor LOL ignite what are you 12 next you'll say it wont stop a 50.bmg ether

  • @solopixy0 a 9mm DU - or 9mm tungsten cored - or even steel core 7.62x39 Com Bloc will not penetrate the Second Chance Hardcorp 3 vest. In reference to "ignite" I am referring to the pyrophoric property of D/U projectiles to ignite when they encounter armour. A moot point because the armour in this vest is surounded by multiple layers of Kevlar fabric - something you wouldn't know about seeing as you never owned or wore one in battle as I did long before you were a twinkle in your dads eye.

  • at no point do my fingers leave my hands haha

  • at first when he said magazines i thought they were gonna unload several magazines into him i was like :O

  • @DaBlindKungFuMastuh you should have seen the video where Richard had his dad fire a magazine of 7.62x39 Com bloc from a CZ semi-auto rifle into his Hardcorp 3 marine vest while standing on the boat in Lake Michigan - and then he jumps in the lake to test the life vest portion of the bullet proof vest!

  • ok 9mm with depleted uranium core you will die

  • @solopixy0 no son...such a round (if it existed in the USA) wouldn't penetrate the vest because the 9mm round wouldn't have enough muzzle velocity from a pistol to allow penetration.

  • & in his own word the energy is the same on the shooter as the one who is shot. My .308 & I use 7.62x51 NATO rounds in it still has a kick & if that's what d energy would be on the person getting hit they would move alot more then that.

  • @adsmith27 you are wrong about that bud...a trained fighters punch or kick has more foot/lbs of energy than the average rifle bullet.

  • Funny d .44 mag I shot had alot more kick but then again it looks like dirty Harry's kicks d same also

  • @adsmith27 oh ya, and Clint Eastwood used real 44 magnum bullets in his gun while filming Dirty Harry...LOL!

  • lol love how he said carefully please...lol!

  • Thumbs up if you thought the shorts were bullet proof 0:22

  • @kyleelliott90 7.62X51Nato (.308) fires a 147gn FMJ bullet at approximately 2500fps - not 3000fps.

  • I wore the very same vest serving in the Rhodesian Army which I personally bought from Richard at the factory in Central Lake, Michigan. The film and the bullets are real and the vest does work as demonstrated. Richard did these demos all the time - shame what happened to the company with the Zylon fabric debacle.

  • I do not believe this video .. I do not believe you can be shot at that range with 308 and survive.. Unbelievable ..

  • @skyguy82 start believing because it's real.

  • what about a 338.lapua or a 7mm magnum?

  • @solopixy0 listen to what Richard says in the video - the Hardorp 3 was designed to stop the standard Nato and Comboc weapons of the day. It will stop a .458 WinMag - but I wouldn't want to be wearing it at the time. I think 7mm RemMag or .338 Lapua probably would penetrate due to their very high muzzle velocity - but that's not what it was designed to stop.

  • This reminds me of the mythbusters episode where they tested the myth of knocking back/over somebody with guns.

  • horseshit, yeah lets do that with a live round bullshit motherfuckers

  • @Automobile577 wrong bud - it's real...I knew the man personally and all of his demos were real. The only concession Richard made was too place a phonebook under the soft versions of his vest to prevent bruising and abrasions on his skin because he shot himself many times in front of disbelieving law enforcement audiences.

  • @Automobile577 they are live rounds son.

  • the 7.62mm was a blank; no recoil could be seen

  • @hardman476 wrong bud - real bullets fired from real rifles. I fired Richards FN-FAL a number of times at stationary samples of his Hardcorp series of vests and wore one servng in the Rhodesian Army. They do everything you see demonstrated here.

  • @hardman476 becuse he firing an FN-FAL semi-auto rifle bud...they don't recoil much because the energy of the recoil is used to cycle the action. BTW - that particular FN was the full-auto version as Richard was a Class 3 collector at the time - I know because I fired it too.
