I always heard it called 'the anniversary waltz'' & my dad would play it on the piano in a jazzed up version. I just love it. I could pick out a tune by ear & by memory of listening to my dad play it, I played what I remembered & found I had the melody right after hearing this video. This is the 1st time I've ever heard it completely, & the 1st time I find out the real name of the song. Any way of getting this on my computer so I can listen to it?
@Huckleberry8 the reason i came searching for this song was specially because i watched the movie as well! did you by any chance find out any of the other pieces that preceeded this one (the one the kids were dancing) ?
I personally consider the scene playing and 'showmanship' a way to attract more and a different kind of public. The younger audience that is usually not so interested in the classical music could have an extra reason to attend these concerts, and I consider this a good thing.
But I recently attended one of his concerts and I was expecting to see a little more of the younger audience. But the audience was about the same age as it would be at any classical music concert, not so many young people.
Ivanovich is romanian.

Woot! Heard this piece in "A Princess for Christmas". Movie earned a C+ but the song I knew I had to have. And now I've found it! Thankyou!
