How could she be a mezzosoprano? I'm a light soprano and my colour is very similar to hers and my low notes are more stronger than hers (my lowest note is E3)! I think her vocal coach did a mistake when he/she classified her, I think she's a light soprano..

Well, but there's a problem here: first, she has belt and very good belcanto technic, she doesn't use "Head Voice", second, she, being a mezzo, has a bigger range, maybe it is not recording, but she is able to do lower notes. It is impossible that Floor Jensen, being a soprano, could do lower notes than Simone. That's a problem of what is and what is not recorded.
of course she can't reach a C#6, I think she can reach a G5 live. in "tides of time", that note is not a Ab5, is a A4, a Ab5 is so much higher than that, you did the same think with a lot of notes in the video

I really hated how she sounded on Phantom Agony. She sounded sometimes nasaly and her voice lacked any versality. But she improved a lot later and i love her voice on TDC and DYU.

I'm pretty sure that the "Unleashed middle notes" note is a b, not a c. Chromaticism allows itself to be easily written wrong. A D# is higher than an Eb. Es cuestión de gustos. si nos vamos a virtuosismo la soprano brillará mucho más debido a su voz ágil y ligera, esto no la hace mejor, pero para el coloratura fan si. Sin embargo soy fan de las voces oscuras más que de las ligeras. Soy soprano de coloratura dramática.

@MarlonBSB sorry not even (listening well) i can hear the Bb5, it's a B5. i even had to warm up (i'm a soprano) and hit the C#6 with piano next to me.... and it's far higher than that note. however i believe she has an excelent voice, no matter her tesitura or range.
