Whenever I'm alone in the house, this is the kind of dancing I do. I make sure no one ever sees it though, because it's somewhat less awesome than this.
This would have to be my all-time fave dance sequence in a movie....The Aloof, the frug etc in Sweet Charity by Bob Fosse. This is the high 60's... the shortest of mini's, the men very of-ay and camp in frilly shirts and tight pants...the dandy look for men was back....throw in a touch of futurism and Edwardian narcissism... great stuff. And you can see Chelsea Brown from Laugh In dancing away. And the lead girl with the huge pony tail switch..OMG... this is perfection.
No dramas, Suzanne also danced in the original broadway show and was a hullabaloo dancer. Her talent combined with Fosse makes for great viewing @shakiMiki
Fosse's a genius **
