sounds like a band in a high profile party playing something that moves with the evening, calm and a slow dance with your partner. Not drowsy or lazy just chilled out. INS spat kinda like Bun B though with the quick flow.
Wu the greatest hands down deck had a different sound I liked it rea always has it going on and the genius he just the genius these dudes can't be stopped
Wow I swear I'm the biggest Chef fanatic out there but this one blew past my head. I wasn't patient enough when I first heard this and wrote it off. DOPE. RZA STILL & ALWAYS RAZOR SHARP.
Wu Tang is FOREVER. I am sick of people always telling me they are breaking up. Not true, they family. They have outlasted any other group in hip hop, shit they have outlasted most Record Labels
@verbalhologram03 Definetly, but he wanted to do a Rza production free album to show that he can stand on his own two. But definetly should of been on there
This is the track "Rockstars and Smoking Barrels" that RZA, Rae and GZA revealed in Scratch magazine in 2005? Wow see I was expecting a lot more from OB4CLII from that article, like "Kareem Khan" and "Thug World" and "No Matter How Hard You Try" with all new verses - I mean I know those last two became "Unpredictable" on 8 Diagrams and "You Can't Stop Me Now" on Digi Snacks but damn what happened. And Deck next time don't re-use your old verse.
I want a Wu album produced exclusively by the Rza, but none of that bullshit lazy Rza production. I want him focused in the studio, not doing his experimental crap. I love the guy, but goddamn, some of his production is awful. This beat is sick though.
@amaru2500 When you produce like 23 fuckin albums a year like him of course a lot of that shit is gonna be filler bullshit. He's hit or miss. Birth of a Prince was nice though, mostly.
@mks509 yeah i def. co sign... rae is an idiot to go against his founder...
but this is just a sample like cream is a sample... i think rae never knew that rza always used instruments... its still an instrument when its a soul sample...
this comes from otis clay - The Woman Don't Live Here No More. sample appears at 1:22 ...

Deck is sick. Funny how Rae was buggin' out when RZA used live instrumentation on 8 Diagrams. Look at Rae now soundin' nice over live instruments
