I love the toys, kitten, and seeing the family (bear and live-action) together, the bears, Nana, the ranger's story and big heart, and I love Christmas. Don't you?
Do you realize how difficult it is to find the one with the live action intro??? I havne't seen that since I was freakin 7-8 years old. I miss this cartoon. I wish they still ran it on TV anually.
i found this on dvd online..... amazon or something few years back i love it . igrew up with all the classics in the 80s....theres something about this movie that just reminds me of being a kid again .....thanks
@beavojohnson -Me too! In the 16mm film catalogs for schools & libraries back in the 1980's the live action segments were cut in the prints for rental, and it was that version that wound up on the VHS videos. I did read though, that the EastWest $1 DVD has the full version. Might still be hard to find as well. Bad decision to have cut it in the 1st place!
This is the beginning version that used to be shown on KTLA in So. Calif. - what a much simpler time - thanks so very much for posting this one! I loved Hal Smith.
This reminds me of growing up. My bro and I would watch this every Thanksgiving. KCAL would show it. This is one of the only versions with the live beginning w/Hal Smith! Thank you!!
Could you please upload the rest of this?
