In Vancouver, Canada my ticket costs $1.75, $2.50 for adults. and more depending on how many zones you want to go, lol it never really matters tho the drivers never enforce the zones rule so I just pay $1.75 every time.
Yeah...I just went to Tokyo for a few days...I just got all days passes so I didn't have to pick specific places and keep on getting new tickets
Until I had to use the JR lines with a one way ticket, and I stood there waiting for a bit for the ticket to come back out like I was used to without walking through haha

This actually looks very convenient.
When i buy a ticket i have to select my destination, class (1st or 2nd), if i have reduction, date or no date and then payment method.
In japan you check all of those things on the board before you even walk up to the machine!

The trains stations in Japan kinda look similar to the ones in Paris when I went.
Is there a right way to put the ticket in?
**Or for a really random question: Have you ever waited for your ticket to out the other when you frist came to Japan (during RUSH hour?)
*It sucks, I know that a lot of French people started swearing at me.
