You do understand that disease and famine were caused to show that there is no God, so we seek new religion but find that you don't need religion at all because people are god, spirit and matter are one in the same and that meditation and selfrelization are what you are here on this earth for, to experience life in all forms of conciousness, and I was very religious but I wondered why there were so many religions before the one I was taught and told was right
@mapollo most people have no clue that the god is not a man who lives on the heavens but a conciousness that experiences itself threw us as we do the same, and when you question your faith you should come up with the question like why would a god make concious beings to cast them into an eternal hell fire if they do wrong. there would be no point to creating
thanks for sharing the true essence of The Lord's prayer. I prayed this everyday many many times...but not knowing the deeper, sincere meaning of it. Thanks and may God bless us all.
No, you are wrong. It was once mistakenly thought to be found also in an Egyptian accounting book. See the work by M. Nijman & K.A Worp in "In a Documentary Papyrus?"
Those words by Francis showed what he felt in prayer. He wasn't just saying the "Lord's Prayer", he was feeling it, making it part of himself. For that reason it touched my heart as well.

I have, but am thanking you for bringing it to me, I never heard of it and I think it is lovely...Pax Christi!!!

:)...thanks. I think it speaks to the idea that merely 'reciting' a prayer is not praying. One must feel it inside yourself.
