    Posting!!!

  • Awesome, wonderful, great, kool, marvelous!!! Whew I love it!!!!!!

  • I agree there in the top five altime do oop groups RICHARD BLAND great lead

  • This has got to be one of the top 10 doowop songs of all time...The Dubs were bested only by TheClovers .

  • I think the Dubs were far better than the Clovers, and even better than both of them, The Harptones!

  • @CrisVangel Sorry to tell you, but we just took a vote, and it was decided that the Clovers are the best!

  • I don't even know who you are so I won't be presuming who are "we"...LOL, but yes you're entitled to your opinion.. I don't think they are in the same league, anyway, it's like comparing apples and oranges to me, very different style, the Clovers were more early 50's "primitive" sounding doo wop.. (ok don't flip out on me now.. lol)

  • @CrisVangel I agree, I really dont' consider the Clovers as a Doo Wop group, but a group of the Doo Wop era...they were very vesitile, and could sing in many styles as was the case of most of the groups of the 40's...when The Clovers first started. they did everything form standards, "Skylark" to swing and R & B, "One MInt Julep"...as a vocal group, they were the best...not to say that "Be Sure My Love" isn't a great song...it's fantastic, but the Dubs recorded some "duds"...

  • @PutOnASweater Ths Clovers were one of many unsung greatr group harmony groups that spanned the late 40s and earlt to mid 50s. Also, there were many groups that reached 'camelot' for one brief shining moment (The jaguars for one). We're lucky to be able to pick and choose. It's their gift to us, and I'm so, so thankful to them

  • @PutOnASweater Nancy? Nancy Pelosi, is that you?

  • Beautiful song, Thanks so much for posting.
