Roland Emmerich is not a dumbass. He is a "openly gay great action director but a poor writing script dude." He is exactly like Michael Bay, knows how to make the world crumble with special effects, but comes up with the most dumbest dialogue. But that's what action movies are about. Blowing up things! And these Michael Bay and Roland Emmerich know how to do. Now, 10,000 BC did suck ass. But other than that, Roland and Michael knows how to entertain us with special effects movies.

I don't think the two are very good directors either, but the great thing about living in a (partly) free world is that they have the freedom to make the movies they want to make and that you have the freedom to choose not to watch them if you don't like their work.

10,000 BC was the most anachronistically packed movie I have ever seen.

The most obvious was the pyramids... built aprox. from 2900 BC to 2600 BC, less than 5000 years ago. And they were built by payed workers, not by slaves.
