Yeah a Stock Gixxer 750 runs about 150hp and 55 ft/tq. So what have you done to your bike other than a slip on? beause you seem to have lost Horsepower and gained torque
@JarBar99 Ok ill let the cycle world comment go purely because you know nothing about me. But you dont lose 20 Hp to the tires from the flywheel. 8-13hp maybe.
@Marshall498 - Who lost 20? 150 -136 = 14 Now add maybe 4 for a slip on, then factor in the re-gearing.Clearly you dont know as much as you think because if you did... you would also know that changing the gearing of the bike the way I did will trade top end HP (peak number mentioned in the video) for more effective lower end higher torque (peak number mentioned in the video). Hence a lower number than your brain dyno is trying to produce. A slip on pipe is good for at most 4-8hp.
@JarBar99 Ok last time I checked, which wasnt actually that long ago. But dropping teeth in the back increases your top end, not your bottom end. By ADDING teeth to the rear you increase the bottom end. Believe me I went from a stock sproket (32 teeth) to a 38 tooth sproket on my GS1000 and I could only manage 120mph flat out but I could wheelie in first second and third no problems
This is probably the best looking bike I have seen the color is very unique and I am buying a 750 that exact color this spring congrats on such a beautiful bike....If any way possible could we send some pictures of the bike to my email gnurida32@gmail.com im not trying to post like its my bike i just would like some pics if possible thanks man
@lilballa8189 - Thanks man, I appreciate the kind words. The color was pretty limited. I take pride in the stuff I build and everything I build I try to stay with the thoughts of clean, subtle an tasteful. I'll see what I can do about the pics.
I actually sold this bike to a customer of mine in September of 2010 and he has it back up for sale now.
@pbmax - Honestly from Ebay, they're made by a company named LAWST CAWS. They fit great and clean up the bike ALOT. I have the same ones in my current bike which is a '08 1000RR.
Is it just me or does the computer screen to the right look like its smiling... probably from the pure awesomeness of the bike!

@Marshall498 - The 150hp you're talking about is CRANK horsepower, not at the tire. Put down your Cycle World and get into the real world.
Dropping teeth from your drive line will increase torque.

@Marshall498 - So you dont pay attention either I see. The rear is stock, front is -1 as stated at 2:36 in the video.

There is no way it put down 98 ft/lbs of torque. That is 1200 cc twin torque.

i cant tell from the angle of the video but he should have a fan running in the front of your bike since it has ram air for performance
