wtf this is a stupid feature. I bet i could search for something way quicker just regularly typing it then typing half of it looking down the list, realising the thing you wanted to search for isn't there then having to type it out anyway. Probably could have typed it twice in the time it takes to do all that shit. Plus you've then got to move your hand to the mouse or arrow keys to then chose the option if the default one isn't the one you want.

u were planning to search for "iphone firmware download" instead Google convinced you to search "iphone firmware" Might not seem like a big difference what the effect of it is huge. Basically Google is encouraging a narrowing of search terms favor "head terms" over "long tails". For small companies this could mean they are shut out of search engine traffic because they can't compete for the shorter terms. Google is squashing the little guys and going to make huge profits as a result.
