Singing and dancing live is hard to do, when I was serious about being a dancer, I tried to be like Janet and do the singing with the dancing...uh yeah you should get a 3rd lung for that, Janet doing this looks so easy. I could hear her breathing the words on some parts she has great control with her breathing and dancing, the woman can do no wrong.
I love the choreography it's amazing... Ppl is looking on how to do it so many ppl is coming up with dances but it's not the right dance moves so I could con-sitter well if you can teach the people/ppl the moves :P
Umm, why am I seeing an old argument on here comparing CIARA to Janet? Ciara is obviously a product of Janet..this 'argument' should never have happened, full stop. You can't compare an imitation to an original..no way.
I LOVE this dance, my favorite move is @1:37, that move just gets me hyped! I'm halfway through learning this dance, it's hard but so fun once you know it.

@Brittain28 You can tell she isn't lip syncing because of the audio quality... plus there are slight pauses where she's catching her breath. She's got amazing breath control, but keep in mind how long she's been doing it. It's just like jogging and talking at the same time... eventually the more stamina you build, the easier it gets.

Janet makes her dancers look bad, i would never want to be a dancer for her, she outdances her dancers! And she sounds great here, don't listen to anyone, Janet does sing live, she may lip the chorus from time to time, but she does sing live a lot, just because she's no celine dion doesn't mean she can't sing, she's underrated as a singer

The point is that Janet can outdance any singer out there today...Howevr vocals are a differeent story..she really can't sing at all. Im sorry fans...she sucks as a singer. The beats and muical styles do blend her vocals and accentuate her sounds SOMEWHAT...but this is an individual with no vocal strength whatsoever.

@Eriq7001 Smack in your face for stating the obvious. We know she can't sing amazingly, but she's an excellent performer and she sings with emotion, so sit down and pay attention. Let's see you dance like that and hold a note at the same time. That's why any stage performance, she's given you triple threat, singing and dancing with some attitude. She may be packaged, but she's the original packaged princess, and she does it so well.

@Eriq7001 Janet's strength is in harmony. She's not a powerhouse vocal talent but she knows how to inflect, vary tone, and emote very well. That's why she has a strong connection to her fans. I can still feel her emotion without her feeling like she needs to sound like anyone else. That's her style and it works for her.

@Eriq7001 This is about dancing AND singing at the same time. Try and you´ll see how difficult that is. It´s why most performers switch to playback while dancing, because they can´t catch enough breath for both. SHE can do it, if you like her voice or not.

@Brittain28 You can tell she isn't lip syncing because of the audio quality... plus there are slight pauses where she's catching her breath. She's got amazing breath control, but keep in mind how long she's been doing it. It's just like jogging and talking at the same time... eventually the more stamina you build, the easier it gets.
