  • Where did you get your hood? How much? And is it carbon fiber or fiber glass?

  • yo how did yew get the scanner is evry 2008 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT500KR got scanners when they sell ???

  • not peer inside

  • I hid small speakers in the grille and powered them by a MP3 player in the car

  • How did you get the noise for the scanner at the front?

  • I sold the car, so maybe the new owner will put one in!

  • Wheres the interactive orb

  • THAT IS SWEET

  • Noob

  • Hi, no it's not. Infact, no lights other than factory lights are allowed on the street.

  • Awesome!! Is the red light actually allowed on the street?? I guess over here it wouldn't ...

  • $18k, and he sold me a 2011 GT at invoice

  • The lights were a row of blue LEDS with a diffuser I made from a panel from Home Depot

  • To bad you sold it. I have a half complete Kitt 2000 and want to trade for a 05 or newer mustang gt. What did you use for the lights on the dash?

  • I can't, sold KITT 2 months ago and bought a 2011 GT

  • @bill0754 how much did u sell it for?

  • Billy did you get my last message you should enter this in the fireball run :)

  • @bill0754 u HAVE to put a video up of tht

  • @vanquishman Of the what? You didn't finish your line.

  • @bill0754 of your new 5.0

  • @vanquishman I will have to make a video of that one. Maybe this coming week I will get a chance to do that

  • These rims were on the 2010 V6 Pony, but were also a $495 option on the GT. On another note, I just sold this car and purchased a 2011 Mustang GT with the Brembo option and 3.73 rear gears.

  • V6 rims on a gt/shelby?? u got 3 cars in one haha

  • I purchased my car new in 2007 for just under $25k. I am in Florida.

  • hi any chance you rember how much you payed for that mustang and are you in uk

  • Great job. Its smokin' hot.

  • Thank you

  • Sounds like you should have a great pair!! Good luck with your cars!

  • Thank you I also have an 85 firebird and I'm planing to make into the original kitt but first the mustang.

  • True....most people think it id a $81,000 KR, and for me, I prefer having this. Same looks at a fraction of the cost!! Good luck with your car!

  • Not very expensive considering wat the kr cost thanks alot for the info again the car looks great hope to see another video of it....thanks

  • Not including the $1,000 for the hood, the rest of the front end, plus painting the new bumper, installation of all parts including the hood, and finishing the hood was an additional $2,600. So the entire front end and hood finished was $3,600. The stripes added an another $550. The scanner was $400

  • I bet that was expensive how much was it?

  • The entire front end is from Ford. It's from the GT500

  • Ok thanks Wat about ur front grill man ur car looks great can't wait to get mine

  • The hood comes in white gel coat. It required baking, and when the primer was shot, it had pin holes in the primer and had to be sanded and reshot. Went through the process 4 times before it was perfect. Then you can finally add the paint and clearcoat. Got to google, and just type in "Trufiber Venom Hood" and it will bring up a lot of different vendors. You can shop it by best price

  • Wat do you mean by prep before painting I appreciate the respond wat website do I go to check the hood and the grill u got it there too..?

  • Where did you get the hood it looks cool and how much was it im planning to do a replica of kitt and I would appreciate the info thanks by the way the car looks bad ass...

  • The hood is a Trufiber Venom with optional Hood locks. Total shipped was $1000. The fit was excellent, but it does require quite a bit of prep before painting.

    Thanks

  • all you need is the voice box

  • I do have the sound effects, but just can't afford the $900 voice orb at this time. Had the show lasted more than 17 episodes, I would consider it. The other issue is that it basically renders the two center vents useless. Black car in Florida....need I say more!!

  • @bill0754 good point but all of that must had coast a pretty penny

  • Actually, I did most of the work myself, so total output converting was about $3000...much less than buying a real GT500KR. I get the look on a budget!

  • Holy HELL!! man thats amazing

  • No, my car has the chamois interior, which came with my car. I personally think it looks better than the red they used in the show...plus the original KITT had a tan interior as well!

  • kitts license plate says 77kr117 right?

  • I honestly don't know....never looked

  • No, it was a GT converted to look like a GT4500kr

  • amazing :)

  • Thanks! It was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun!
