Whole game is a joke. the best parts in the game were bad. camera is terrible, werehog parts close to unplayable. Suppose it's a godsend compared to sonic 06 though.

Haha, no not quite. What I'm saying is that most of the people on youtube are retards/fanboys. So when someone actually comes up with some real and relative critisism that comment will likely be downvoted since most people think that s/he is trolling or something.
I appreciate your concern, but I'm sure it works fine. (It's an xbox 360). I could tell from the trailers why this game would suck. I'm acttually supprised myself at how right I was.
It's funny how I never had any of those problems. and the werehog's controls were pretty simple. I had a few problems with the camera(about 1or 2 times) you would mostly only have problems with the camera if you moved it around to much. with the information you provided i would have to assume that you didn't play that well
While the game is awesome, they still need to just get back to there roots. It should just be Sonic running fast. No attempts at a beat-em up, no complex storyline, just Sonic running really fast. Its what made the games fun in the first place.
If you think this is fast, you're in for a fucking shock when Sonic actually gains speed level. This is like the Sonic at the beginning of the game. Believe it or not, this is him "slow".

Sonic has approx 3 levels daytime per level, and 2 werhog nightime levels, so all stages have about 5 levels. and there are 8 stages, excluding the final stage.
But having said that the other 2 daylevels are "challenge style". Theyre different in desgin, but more in do 3 laps of a course, and a grind/quicktime challenge"
I wish they did. The Sonic Adventure games were my favorite games out of all the Sonic games. This game does look really good too though, but thats just my opinion.
I just noticed something when i watched this: as Sonic reaches his top speed, the music gets slightly softer. This is used to imitate moving at super sonic speeds, since the sound can't keep up with Sonic.
more or less. it does this when the speed boost is activated, not necessarily when "top speed" is reached. but i didn't think of it that way, good on you.
i think it's too fast.. i don't think pulling the analog stick up is that fun... but at least it looks better than many sonic games... They should make something like Sonic Adventure 2...

I loved the Chao Garden, but they said that most likely will never return because it was only made for the Sonic Adventure series. I CAN imagine a DS though...you could race other people's chao online and raise em with friends and blah blah blah.

i think it is a stupid move sonic it extremely slow and the main reason anyone will by this game is because of the speed.
sure it could etract people outside the fanbase and could bring something new but if they are trying something that is a potential gamebreaker they shouldn't of put as many werehog levels as they did.

Yeah really. Or some Lasik or something. This is the greatest sense of speed I've witnessed since Burnout III. Even more so than Sonic 2006's mach speed zones. And I've played the "Sonic brand" since '93.
Now, I think he's got a point about the Werehog levels. It's clear they're meant to add an alternate play mechanic, so don't expect it to resonate as well with us speed freaks. But let's give it chance.

Wii's will be better cause of the controls. The day and nighttime will be much better (you use the Wiimote to attack when werehog). If you're into graphics, HD, and not-too-exciting controls you should buy it for xbox360.

first of all that Xbox must be straining to handle a good frame rate becuase the developers finally went all out with speed like a good Sonic game should... also is it just me or does Sonic sound cooler in japanese... Japan has a cool language to me

What's up, people complained a lot how Sonic 06 didn't give much exploration, and now this... Either you play as the frick-slow Werehog or you end up speeding through... this, ending before you can notice.
How is that bringing Sonic back to its roots, I don't know, but from what I recall the earliest Sonic games gave it a fair amount of exploration.
Yea in the Genesis Sonic Games there was a lot of exploring to do in those games as well. Not only were there multiple routes to get to the finish but powerups and other secrets scattered all over the place. And the enemies could actually kill you, in this game they seem to just fly away after you touch them.
It's only when Sonic's going at that really really fast speed that they can't hurt him, otherwise....BRRRRRRING! (<----My lame attempt at the ring losing sound XP)

no this game isn't like Secret Rings. Secret Rings is onrails (this game you use the anolog stick to control Sonic), it takes place in a storybook, there's no hubs so you can explore and Sonic is the only character you play as in single player.
At least the magazines were grateful enough to give it at least a C rated score.

With experience points you can boost Sonic's speed level, he starts off at speed level 1. This is him at his slowest, hard as that may be to believe.

Wii's will be better cause of the controls. The day and nighttime will be much better (you use the Wiimote to attack when werehog). If you're into graphics, HD, and not-too-exciting controls you should buy it for xbox360.

Ah! I just remembered from my anime I watch Kimochii means feeling or feels right? and ne ,means rigt or good. So, in english, it means "Feels good" or great. Or it's omoshide=This is fun... O_o Just trying to give you guys an idea on what it means. ^_^

Kimochii means " It feels good". The "ze" at the end of the phrase when he says it is a shortened version of "daze", which, along "dayo" or "desu", is one way to end a sentence or word. It is not necessary nor obligatory to use them, but some people do.
As far as I know, omoshide is not a word; it would be "omoshiroi", which means "interesting", but is often translated to "funny", which is not good nor bad.

first of all that Xbox must be straining to handle a good frame rate becuase the developers finally went all out with speed like a good Sonic game should... also is it just me or does Sonic sound cooler in japanese... Japan has a cool language to me

Way to go, SEGA! Send Sonic to more confined places... at least you won't have to worry about turning to the sides.
What's up, people complained a lot how Sonic 06 didn't give much exploration, and now this... Either you play as the frick-slow Werehog or you end up speeding through... this, ending before you can notice.
How is that bringing Sonic back to its roots, I don't know, but from what I recall the earliest Sonic games gave it a fair amount of exploration.

Yea in the Genesis Sonic Games there was a lot of exploring to do in those games as well. Not only were there multiple routes to get to the finish but powerups and other secrets scattered all over the place. And the enemies could actually kill you, in this game they seem to just fly away after you touch them.

thats exactly what i thought when i saw it lol.but its not, your ganna use the anolog stick to move.well, with the 360 and ps3. idk about the wii controller tho, but its a high chance it wont be like secret rings for the wii.

no this game isn't like Secret Rings. Secret Rings is onrails (this game you use the anolog stick to control Sonic), it takes place in a storybook, there's no hubs so you can explore and Sonic is the only character you play as in single player.
