  • Maybe i should not tell this, but what the hell, anonymous anyway :). We are close to a breakthrough on our university somewhere in Europe where nano-technology will be used for new portable power-cells. This means that (for example) your phone can be used for over 2 weeks before charging it. And it also means super-fast charge times of a couple of minutes (3-5).

    Greets.

  • some really good stuff here

  • hmmm.... so this technolgy could rip human atoms apart?! nooo, i don't want to believe that

  • I am 26 now. when I was 16, just a decade ago I was playing a PS2 and the best films were the first harry potter & lord of the rings films. Now we have Photorealistic CGI in both games and films. The scary thing is that 10 years in the future is not the same as two years into the past because technology snowballs faster and faster. So in ten years time we will have a bigger leap than from 2001 to now.... JUST TEN YEARS.... I HAVE ANOTHER 50 TO GO!!

  • WTF? =,O

  • fascinating!healing by nanobots!

  • IBM CATALOGED THE JEWS FOR THE NAZIS.

    FUCK IBM.

  • Comment removed

  • @ohmybearhands really? i love IBM!

  • imagine a car made of nanobots, A NEW CAR EVERYDAY!!!

  • ibm was instramental is tracking prisoners for hitler, look up project paperclip and project oxygen then let me know if you think it is still a good idea

  • it will make that whole borg collective mind thing alot easier what with this and the smart dust

  • Everyone buy IBM stock!

  • So your saying that you cant make anything you want?

  • Once Nano bombs are created, then God help us all. Who knows? Maybe one day, people might be able to put them in your drink and you won't even notice.

  • @7heAre7s nano bombs? :D why would someone bother getting a nano bombs in your drink itstead of some good old poison?

  • @VarykGerai Maybe someone might want to take someone out in style B-)

  • fuck nano bots

  • Lol the world will end before we have atomic computing.

  • We all know (see Edwin Black) of IBM's shameful past with the Nazis.

But, stop it with the wacko insane religious shit. There is no god. All religion is bullshit.

  • resonance, tesla , rife, they all talked about this 100 yrs ago!!! u can even resonate this planet to send wireless power to everyone and help save the earth! i show a basic 20 ft wireless transmission as an example!

  • "Using an oscillating quartz tuning fork to apply force to individual atoms"

Ahem. So rife tuning frequency technology really does manipulate atoms then... Now cure our diseased humanity.

  • hmm pcs small like a piece of sticky note :D

  • i smell nano bombs

  • VVVVV---- Random rant?.... anyways, this is fucking interesting as hell, but scary, reminds me of a machine that could make a black hole and swallow us all up and never even know what happened, but its interesting lol

  • @supra1

If your talking about CERN, there was never a danger of a black hole. Contrary to popular belief, scientists are extremely intelligent people. They understand the science going into the accelerator. They are not going to band together and destroy the world.

  • FUK IBM/JAIL-Scott Silerman AKA:VeriChip-Positive ID pushing his company to link your health records and credit records&recording Your Personal Data on his DEVIL's Chip-He's A LIAR(Don't BELIEVE he has the Chip Himself)but if he does He already DAMNED himself to burn in Hell for Thousand Years; "Jesus says they burn in torment& their WORMETH refuses to DYE."Siverman is JUDAS-LIAR assures us"No Conspiracy," OH YEA I Believe you DEVIL! I will take DEATH before the MARK OF BEAST!

  • Tu é feio pra carai em Markus

  • when i grow up, i wanna be a nanotechnologist.

  • what it wil bring us.....yhe end of the human ras as we know it...and the new world spieces that wil surfive the created armacadon.....

when we fully understand the capability of nano tech...the human ras wil no longer be needed..we are the gods we long so feared..

we are ad the beginning of becomming does gods...

and when we have created the perfect body..it wil destroy us and move on...its called evolution

  • @opiated666 Second grade English, see you there...

  • @kanethelos hey you try to writt dutch or deutch language..let us see how wel you wil do num num....

  • @opiated666 Ja, aber das ist nicht so schwer. Ich kann auf deutsch sprechen. I'm sorry though, i didn't know you were german. Tol! But i did see bad English and i had to say something, you know how it is.

  • @kanethelos im dutch.....hollander from the netherlands...and no i dont know how it is...

im not a person that makes fun of some one els when i dont know him/her.... in that way...

  • @kanethelos im dutch.....hollander from the netherlands...and no i dont know how it is...

im not a person that makes fun of some one els when i dont know him/her.... in that way...

stick to the subject next time...

  • Take the RED PILL.

    BREAK The Matrix.

    ▼ ⊂ ⊃ ▼

  • Every family will own at least one yottaflops computer.

Every university, corporation, and government organization will own at least one "million yottaflops" super computer with one billion yottabits of memory, and this device will fit in a space roughly 2 meters long, 1 meter high, and 1 meter wide. This is not 400 years away as in Star Trek. This is about 25 years or so away based on Moore's law and some 3d extrapolation as chipsets enter the 3rd dimension.

  • This isn't "bigger news" just yet because most people either don't care, don't understand the implications of, etc.

Our reality in the next ~25 years is going to be stranger than fiction. We will have computers that easily exceed the fictional computers of Star Trek: Voyager, capable of storing the entire lifetime of every individual in an entire civilization in HD or 3d video on a single chip the size of a sugar cube.

  • hell ya technology FTW

  • Next thing you know, there's a huge fucking needle coming from out of space picking you up and lifting over to a pile of humans.

  • Why isn't this bigger news?

@youtubejunkee - you obtuse retard. He wasn't saying he was trying to reinvent the f'n iPod you dolt. You kids today need to learn to think past what's in front of you before opening your mouths...is ALL of today's youth stupid?

  • @shaftymacnasty I for one can say no.

However an increasing amount is, unfortunately.

They give the rest of us a bad name.

  • I made three of todays' youth. Dude I look back thirty years and go "I know I was not this stupid". I think there is an undetected force working against our kids minds maybe ;possibly hidden messages in music like that "buy popcorn at the movie theater image they throw up every 25 frames or so!!! Dont think+++ your government will take care of all your needs hahaha

  • IPOD? obviously not an IBM sales man!

  • tuning it to the atom... just brilliant.

  • 10 to 20. cant wait. but why would they spend all that technology research on ipods. useless, and ignorant.

  • Cool! This looks just like the Nanodots magnets... I wonder if you can do the same thing with those?

  • you need to stay in skool and learn to spell

  • @RedFox0333 And apparently so do you.

  • @musicman387 We can only hope that was sarcasm

  • @DirectInjected funding...

  • They already have carbon nano-tubes space elevator here we come.

  • English bitch. Speak ENGLISH!

  • I am anticipating amazing technology, it is exciting what the future technology may be like and how it will be introduced into everyday life. Now all we got to do is learn to all get along! No more wars...No nano-bombs please.

  • @combatives nano bombs are used in cells by enzimes and oter protins to destroy tumor cells

  • @leo196able

I know that it is the experimental stage, yet I have hope that we can destroy cancers and help with many other conditions. Science, logic, reason, and humanitarianism rules!

  • @combatives A NANObomb wouldn't do much damage...

  • awsome

  • soon we will be able to pull objects out of our tv's instead of going to the store to buy them. =)

  • OMG its CLAUS! He got out of the fish bowl!!!! 0:50

  • Nothing will ever equal the ipod...it is all downhill from here.

  • @Mindbendersmith You are stupid.

  • @Revosgonewild you are stupider for not sensing the sarcasm in his comment.. and im stupidest for actually replying to you with words that dont even exist.. but you're still stupider! :D

  • @Mindbendersmith You are an idiot.

  • 1: Depends what you're making. 2:That guy has crazy eyes. 3: Since when did IBM start nanotech???

  • that guy got the cell phone thing wrong lol there were cell phones in the 80s :P

  • @1993gandy what the ones the size and weight of a brick lol

  • @Baldwynmayhem well i never held one so i dont know how heavy they are but i been told and yeah the massive ones like a brick

  • @1993gandy hehe

  • hehe the mass of a pendulum changes its resonant frequency... it's always back to basics, 500 years of old stuff... modernized!

  • @louisecnordborg You mean, the "future"?

  • I can't imagine how the world will look in twenty years.

  • We can use Nanotechnology to miniaturize Nuclear Reactor to power our owned UFO Version with Ionized Turbo-engine booster to explore the UNIVERSE.

  • @MrVrsilvestrejr2008 that sounds something that will be availible in the future

  • @MrVrsilvestrejr2008 I damn well hope it works that would be amazing :)

  • can we build a invisible cloth with it??

  • dont forget spintronics, quantum computers, and probability based technologies.

  • Creating supersmall computers.

Creating super materials. Diamond Kevlar. Mithril. ;)

    This is great.

  • ok, that's weird, this guy made a HUUUGe mistake, he said "the force is measured by changes in the frequency of the tuning fork"

Everyone knows The Force is measured in MIDICHLORIANS!!!

  • this is sparta!!!

  • lol

  • I hope that this technology doesn't come in freemasons hands.

  • yeah that'd be disgusting, a bunch of freemasons with handfulls of nanotechnology semen . . .

  • This sounds good for the future!!

  • Good point.

  • Just hope those new technologies would benefit mankind not its own destruction -_-

  • that depends on how we use it, just like every new tool development

  • Fact: this is truly exciting technology

Fact: the world is full of idiots, and alot of them are making mindless comments. Go back to crapping in a hole, if technology is so scary.

  • IBM are the people who tattooed the jews in WWII. In fact IBM wouldn't be around if it weren't for WWII

  • IBM didn't do the tattoing, they supplied the machinery to keep track of them all. And if you think about it, supply chains being what they are, IBM probably had machines being sold in germany long before hitler rose to power, and most of the machines were probably bought before there was a problem

  • watch out for that microchip they are manufacturing for you.

  • yeah yeah, whatever, if they try to do that shit with the christian population at 60% of the US they'll have a manufactured armageddon. the most they'll do is make you carry it around in your wallet, and it really doesn't matter cause you can shield rfid tags

  • watch?v=_xNhL39uD7I

  • now everyone's gonna have a tinfoil-hat for their wallets :p

  • Can someone make an intelligent post without claiming it'll end the world?..

  • got morgellons disease?

  • You really have no idea what you are talking about.

  • awsome

  • Finally, now we can make drugs from atom form, haha

  • wooooooo!

  • @G0dsAssassin ahahahahah. drugs is all in your mind now..

  • In a few decades we will have small chips as powerful as the human brain.

  • only been a couple million years to fine tune a human brain. Think that squishy mass has gotten good enough to make it's own mimic?

  • excellent work!

  • if you think thats scary check out playstation 3 cell processor or something its so advance.

  • I'm assuming that was a joke, carry on.

  • You're more impressed by a ps3 than this?

  • the future is coming

  • damn ipods.

  • Why is that scary?

  • Because this means that we are rapidly nearing technology that can destroy individual molecules. Nukes will appear incompetent compared to the superweapons that will come next.

  • @pyxlated Ignorance?

  • @pyxlated Because... it could destroy anything.

  • @pyxlated Because ignorance breeds fear.

  • @MonsuerLePlague knowledge breeds paranoia.

  • @Opisthotonos

Paranoia breeds derangement of mind; derangement of mind breeds knowledge.

  • @ttopperr i dont get it..

  • @ttopperr are you calling me deranged?!

  • @ttopperr

No I am not; derangement means to cause disarrange of the mind and disarrangement of thoughts often lend them self to new and unheard of ideas. So thinking out side the box kind is being deranged; socially acceptable derangement.

  • your ignorant.

  • And your intellect is, as you have demonstrated, far superior to mine, correct? Insults make you look intelligent? Where did you go to school? You a philosophy major? I bet you know a whole lot about psychology. Define ignorant.

  • there's always smaller

  • There's very little smaller than this that can be manipulated by humans. We're nearing the end of the spectrum.

  • IBM eats HP haha is in it??

  • It is akin to nails on a chalk board when people say stupid shit and then vigorously back it up.

  • I can already see what will happen, the difference between the rich and the poor will become even bigger, the rich will be able to turn poor people into mindless slave by hacking into their brain and change things.

  • i'm not so sure about myself, but do you have cobalt in your brain?

  • When this hits the market. Thats it, memory storage will have hit maximum density.

  • does that german scientist frighten anybody else?

  • no?

  • yes

  • I think i met him...lol

  • amazing!

  • nice

  • this would be really useful if it could move multiple at a times. it would take so long to build something useful if it only moved one at a time.

  • Dude I want an implanted laser gun.

  • I'd prefer an inplanted ion gun... Just ike in one of the sci-fi books i'm currently reading :-)

  • But laser guns are all the rage! Ion guns are SO last decade..... And you cant get a an Io gun for your cat. My cat has a laser gun in his left eye =)

  • yeah.

    yeah.

  • CTM

  • why are we still talking about electronic devices when optical is far more effecient and more powerful.

  • I want a implanted Cell Phone or Radio in my Body I can call for help..they already make ;locaters chips for that I want a transmitter.

  • So how many firsts do you have under your belt?
