  • This is why foam is so dangerous! Sure, Foam will yield you the highest R-value/inch, but is has a flashover within 45 seconds of contact, and the installation and manufacturing of foam is dangerous and pollutes the environment.

Cellulose is fire resistant (because it's treated with naturally safe chemicals), has the least of amount of pollution with installing and manufacturing than other types of insulation, and has better thermal and sound qualities than fiberglass.

  • can't leave comments!

  • White folks always go to the Hip Hop brawl clips and say racial things

    about them.

    Well guess what...PAYBACK IS A BITCH !

I thought you Rock heads were into this sort of suicides, devil worship, and burning in hell.THAT PARTY WAS RED HOT !

  • @RedFuelDelux You are a stupid nigger who has obviously smoked too much crack.... GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE

  • @RedFuelDelux Wow, pull the race card. Typical...

  • it was an accident, nobodys fault. other than lack of common sense, and for pyros to be in there at all...i new alot of people who died there as well..

  • @kenithrogers - You think thin....

  • @kenithrogers Blow it out yer ass - pussy.

  • @kenithrogers you would be singing a much different tune if your daughter was killed at that club - you would want justice. Although it didn't happen here - you wished they all walked away scott free.

  • @kenithrogers I did answer your question, unlike you- It serves as an example of what happens when you put money in front of human life - now answer my question, that's what I thought...

  • @kenithrogers Exactly. Apparently no one's held truly responsible for the lives, and only are for the inconvenience of the families' loss.

This is severely trumped by BP. Life lost, planet scarred (for a very long time) and total absolution of responsibility.

If a normal citizen kills someone in a car while texting can send you to jail for possibly shorter time than if you were drinking and driving.

It's so weird how we punish someone. There are a lot of decent weed-smokers in prison for ex.

  • @kenithrogers So you're saying people can kill people on accident, and just have to pay a fine as punishment? Even hundreds of people? What about thousands? Or tens of thousands? Do you still think, "hey, he's just a business man, he made a mistake?"

I think if punishment is life in prison (with "real criminals") that provides incentive to make sure your business is safe. Especially when you're aware you pack up to capacity and have pyrotechnics. Saving a buck cost him a looooot.

  • @kenithrogers Commit the crime -pay the price. That is my philosophy. Whats yours? And you still haven't answered the question.

  • @kenithrogers Facts bother you, that is your problem. I am a 20 year fire veteran, rescue diver, investigator, paramedic and a bunch of other titles. You obviously love criminals that kill people and are here to stand up for them, well bravo to you sir, hero to the shitbags of the world.

  • @kenithrogers sweetie, what are you gay now? please advise us all of the many other compliant clubs that have burned to the ground and killed people. I'll wait for you to try and look some up. Prison accomplishes something, yes it does -it sends a message that negligence will not be accepted. Man are you a fucking moron.

  • Sad. The video of the fire is the most disturbing thing I've ever seen.

  • @kenithrogers SO WRONG you are- no compliance existed... Tell me what compliance existed please tell me...I know what codes were broken but I'd like you to tell me...

  • @kenithrogers Oh yea i almost forgot, they purposely stuffed the place with over 400 patrons, when the capacity was 200. But yea they are just nice guys and had no idea they were breaking the law, why don't you pay their attorney's fees if you love them so much? I'll happily pay my share of the tax burden to put them away, they destroyed hundreds of lives. so u love them - you are in the minority. I'm for the everyday hard working joe that bought a ticket and expected to live through the night.

  • @kenithrogers If I took money to allow people to enter my kids fort in my back yard and I poured gasoline all over it (which is basically what this foam turned into) then yes I would be going to prison. after burning them to death- to fit into your scenario...

  • @kenithrogers Well, they fit the absolute definition of negligence. For one... They were responsible for providing a safe atmosphere for the people entering their establishment. Need I go on? they basically killed those people by allowing highly flammable foam be put up on the walls and ceiling of their bar. They ignored basic safety precautions when they blocked the front door with a long table. Well instead of going on to the ten other points -i'll quit now.

  • one of the brothers got 500 hours of community service and the other got 2 years of a 4 year sentence, we are studying this call in our fire investigation class. Real Justice Huh...

  • There are a lot of ways to look at this situation - obviously one of the saddest things to ever take place in New England's long and storied history. Ranging from it was really just a "freak accident" to "hang everybody involved by the neck until they die" and that is what is so hard about it: Now that it's over what can we do about it?? Not very much ... Also, may I say that people seem to overlook/forget that there were also *200* burn victims. & Some of them would be better off dead. God bls

  • Having been in a band that played clubs much larger i must say that actual band members may have input as to presentation of a gig, however the individuals for making that happen are management and event coordinators that are responsible for going to a location ahead of time to inspect placement and meet with club owners to find out if there are any hazards or limitations to what might be planned. This was a tragedy and dark time but the band, who also lost people have taken too much abuse.

  • how many band members died?`

  • @HotButterNFly One, the guitarist.

  • Youtube, real classy to have a 'quit smoking' commercial preceeding this video.

  • my mom was supost to go but she had to back out and im glad to still have my mom and i will miss briget

  • The nine plus min video has had the comments disabled!

Please restore the comments section youtube so people can learn something or is you guys have something to hide?

  • yea this was fucked up, i used to live right down the street from it.

  • What I've never understood is why Great White was using pyro is such a small club to begin with? I actually heard that they weren't even using a proper pyro setup, but some sort of low budget rig put together from store bought fireworks, but I think that might be just a rumor.

At any rate, looking at that video, it doesn't look to me like they should have been using pyro at all in that place.

  • @Kohntarkosz Like the club seems like the size of some people's bedrooms maybe. I know that Great White was a big 80s rock band but seriously somebody should have said something. My dad was working for an ambulance company and responded to the call. I saw him on tv pulling an empty stretcher I believe. It was nice to see him on tv but not for something like this at all.

  • Fire marshall who examined the club and gave it a clean bill of health was never subpoenaed to

testify nor explain his actions. He was allowed to

go his way without the least bit of a statement

about his inspection of the club. I know that the

man is hiding something. The cheap, flammable and toxic sound proofing insulation

that was used to cut costs but which cost lives!

  • @Byrontheone nope he didnt examine the club at that time, it passed yearly inspection and no permit was pulled for the pyro... it SHOULD have been common sense on the band managers part. This is why when I go anywhere I show my kids the alternate exits -because in a bad event everyone will go out the way they came in- dont be that person.

  • the problem was that the club had exit doors but they were all cover up so all the people that were in there tried to rush out the 1 door they all came in and got stuck - another problem was that the club was 100 people over capacity and about 100 people died ----- horrible tragedy and very sad --- my prayers are with everyones families still

  • 6 milking dollars? Some kind of new bovine currency? haha

  • ahahahhaah 6 milking dollars xDDDDD

  • what?? six milking dollars?

  • The security guard of the band told everyone to exit in the one double doors while the band goes on the other exit safetly where there is no people. The people got crammed in the door becuase they all pushed and panicked... sad huh?

  • @DarbyWave The band's guitar player died.

  • this world we live in is fucked, how the fuck is the foam company responsible''they didn't light the fire, the idiot band did''they almost burned down the stone pony a week before in new jersey, some how they are not responsible for the fire, which is amazing, that was a great place to play''& see bands, was a landmark for hard rock, its a fuking shame, all around''

  • the foam was not up to fire code. The foam that was supposed to be put in there was much more expensive and fire retardent, as oppose to the cheaper stuff which was installed, obviously you can see it spread fire throughout the club within seconds. The Foam Company should not have taken al lthe blame, the contractor should have taken most of it.

  • good stuff :)

  • You think that's funny? 100 people died that night? What the hell is wrong with you?

  • i HAD A tEACHER tHAt WAS iN tHAt ClUB & 1 OF HiS ARMS iS MISSiN & HAlF OF HiS BODy iS BURNED; iTz SO SAd

  • My 11th grade teacher was in it he has burns on his lower back but hes ok

  • There were exit signs everyone tried to go out the front door. That is why 100 people died.

  • no there were no exit signs

  • I know them. I go to school with Jefree's son,Max. All Im saying is max is rude, and so is his father. Max's uncle should still be in jail. I dont care if he was good. He still should be there.

  • I don't care who you think you are but you but Michael and "Jefree" are great men and I'm proud to be Michael's Nephew. Don't make stupid accusations like that when you have no clue what you are talking about.

  • Ask Michael and "Jefree" why they painted the ceiling of their club with roofing tar and bought the cheapest foam on the market to soundproof it.

  • Its called IM sweetie... Yooh shud try it sum timeeee.(((:

  • i just saw this video in my firefighter class. Man that was gruesome!

  • hey u know it doesnt matter the negative stuff people say about these kind of situations... if people remember what happend and fight for a cause that is all that you can really hope for. and speeking for myself alone i have fought, so dont give up

  • Okayy 1st of all i wasnt replying to people burning to death by saying lol.... i sed "lol" bcuz yooh hear nothing happen in rhode island.... thats what i was referring to. And the fact that yooh have to post a comment directed to me if pretty immature. That just tells me yooh have no life and yooh have to start shit with other people... • lol your right nothing happens here in rhode island

  • Especially in Pawtucket

  • uhmmm, I think it's spelled "you".....

    Just thought YOOH should know.

  • I love how people make up new ways to spell words to sound cool, and they just end up sounding like a idiot who would fail a second grade spelling test. Also IM?? as in AIM? the point is to make things shorter, not longer.........*sigh*

  • @kaseyg88 gt ovr it ...gEEEz its kEwl !! we rLLy dnt nd 2 mny Vwlz.....sty edjumaKated!!

Wow, excuse me, but you really have to be a FUCKING JERK-OFF to write like this. How still does that?! Oh, yeah, scumbags!

  • @HotButterNFly what in the world are u talking about?

  • By the way, the fire took place in West Warwick, RI. NOT Warwick. There actually is a difference.

  • i know someone who was killed in that night club....it was my uncules best friend...im so sad for my uncule

  • My best friends mom dies in that fire. :(

    ----

    R.I.P

  • Thats my hometown.. daymn yooh hear nothing happening in Rhode Island besides this lol.((:

  • Ncfy, I'm still trying to figure out what is so damned funny about 100 people getting burned to death. Is there some reason why you feel compelled to add LOL or are you just too fuckin stupid to realize you typed it?? Get a life, sweetie.

  • Where is the original video from beginning to end? Where the band started then they leave the building along with the people squeezing through the front door?

  • The original footage you describe was shot by Channel 12 and was shown the next day on TV. My understanding is that the complete footage was never shown again because it was too gruesome. Channel 12 owns the rights.

  • the band left through a stage door while everyone else left through the front door. the reason everyone went through the front door is because people weren't aware of there surroundings. also there were no lit exit signs witch may have helped a lot

  • Yes there were but people weren't thinking straight because they were scared and intoxicated which didn't help at all

  • 0:6 did they say milkhion

p.s. we get to many nightclub fires here in rhode island, i can count 3 in the last 10 years. lol, we never learn our lessons

  • Are some kind of pathetic moron?? What makes you LOL about three deadly fires? I'm sure it would be LOL funny if you burned your stupid face off in one of them. PS. Hey Moron, name the three RI fires in the past 10 years.

  • i dident lol

  • we really do, but these people are just plain moorons, i know, trust me, theyre moorons

  • my gurls mom n her aunt died in tht fire thoze guys are fukkin scum bags

  • YEs they are. I know them and they are very rude to children.

  • The band or the owners?

  • That video of them all trying to fit through the doorway was heart wrenching.

A tragedy like this, you know someone is responsible. its too great of loss of life to NOT place responsibility on the owners, although the band are the ones who did the actual pyrotechnics so i feel they are partly responsible ...i bet you all the band members made it out alive. They left through the back door

  • Do your research. One of the band members died. You talk as if they all deserved to. What were they supposed to do? You would run too. It's called self preservation.

  • Yeah, I'm sure they don't realize the lives lost. How stupid are you? It's not like they meant to do it!

  • 1.) No exit signs

2.) they just kept letting ppl in. They probably knew there was to much.

3.) They should of been in there to get people out in time

4.) they only had 2 doors, and had many ppl in there. do the math.

  • I saw Great White exactly 1 week prior here in Milwaukee, what a shame. RIP

  • the worst part of it is that the settlement money the victims' families will receive will never bring back the people they lost. how do you apologize for something like that?? i hope they realize all the lives lost

  • This was horrible. I remember not being able to get the images of those people stuck in the doorway as they burned to death out of my mind. Can you imagine the nightmare they experienced in the last moments of their lives?

  • i agree about the fact that these people who even made this place were some dumb_shitfaces , for makinq a flammable ceilinq (FOAM] and inverese doors !!!

And the fact that this tragedy is soo sadd , these ppl didnt deserve this , no one does .

  • i watched the full film of this fie at schol 2 weeks ago and boy it scared shit ut of me =/

in 1min 30 secs the fuems were killing people and also ppl were getting stuck from all trying ot get out of doors at once :(

i spoke to a fireman who did the assemble and he said that 150 ppl died in it 200 badly burnt and some ppl were ok.

  • where did you watch that? I would like to see it.

  • Over 100 people that were family or friends to someone died in that club. I'm sorry that not everyone is as cool as you. Its easy to trash talk the dead isn't it.

  • STFU! That was a terrible tragedy, it's only a shame you weren't one of the victims too.

  • hindsight is 20/20. no they should have never lit the roman candles. everybody that knew about the candles being lit are accountable to a certain degree. involuntary manslaughter. mistakes happened, can't change what happened and can't make it right by punishing those that made a absent minded mistake. i'm very sad watching the video of that night again. i can't get it out of my head nor doesn't my heart ever heal. i would suspect that is true of those "responsible" for the fire as well.

  • play with fire you get burned.

  • The foam burning was a secondary cause-and-effect result of Great White's utterly foolish use of pyrotechnics indoors. Foam and wood and paper burns. Any fool knows that. It's the dumb-assed band members that should be held accountable for the fire as they were the idiots who were stupid enough to light off roman candles inside of a phucking building!
