  • Sorry, unconvinced. It's just a messenger bag. Can't see how it makes changing lenses more convenient than any other bag.

  • $200 for half a yard of neoprene. Um, no. If you can work a sewing machine you can make one of these for under $20 in about an hour.

  • looks like a good idea, but I'll stick with my lowepro bags, I like the thick padded bags more! Like the StealthReporter! :)

  • ooh i need one of these!

  • My wife really wants one of these but wants an Eco-Friendly one. Any plans on making these with more eco materials?

  • What is an "eco-friendly" camera bag made out of? Really, the whole eco-craziness movement is getting out-of-hand. Are your camera lenses "eco-friendly"?

You *could* just carry your expensive lenses around in a cloth shopping bag...

  • @dsbikes

i'm really not sure what you mean by 'eco-craziness movement' are you not aware of the chemicals we are surrounded by on a daily basis? the less i have around me and my family, the better.

neoprene is a man made material. invented by a dupont scientist. and we all know they aren't the poster child for environmentalism.

  • @azsteve

I appreciate your desire to shape your home environment in the way you see fit. By "eco-craziness" I mean that now even computer memory modules are marketed as "green", when the difference between their so-called "green" RAM and "non-green" RAM has essentially zero actual benefit for the environment, but it feeds into an almost extremist-religion-like fervor of some.

    (continued...)

  • @azsteve

Chemicals are not necessarily bad, nor are man-made substances. It is because of many of those things that we live decades longer than previous generations. I don't understand the point of your DuPont comment -- who invented neoprene is irrelevant, and DuPont seems to have an ecological commitment (as is fashionable these days).

My main point was that we're talking about a bag, not an SUV. What would be the actual lessened impact of a so-called eco-friendly bag versus this one?
