@minecraftawesome123 Mininova has been gone a long time dude. The best torrent site I know of now is Torrentz dottt commm. If that doesn't work just type in your subject and after that write "torrent" and search Google. I found a very obscure movie from 1961 in Polish that way the other day.

@asienadam96 The first thing you have to do is download the free program "Utorrent" from their website. The second thing you have to do is get a "codec" so windows media player can play them. I use CCCP, it may not be the best, most people recommend VLC Player, or K-lite Codec pack. Torrents are tricky at first, but once you understand them, they are the best thing ever. Keep in mind that copyrighted material is not legal, in the US at least.

@ColdanfulKing Actually, I can't help you. Downloading games is not that difficult, but getting them to play is. I've never been able to do it. You need to know about "cracks", "keygens" "winrar" and other complicated things I don't understand. I've had movies, music, and some apps working fine for years, but getting games to play is a pretty complicated affair.

sorry i couldn't really hear you... but the way it seems... µtorrent doesn't download files (example : songs) directly, you have to find them on a provider site... correct?

Great video... helped a bit but, is there any way to put your PC into a state of low energy consumption though still be able to run programs.

Eg. Save energy at night though still have Utorrent running

Ignore that comment I didn't know what I was talking about but I'm more clued in now.

I've managed to download a TV program in a couple of minutes and a Wii game only took around 2 hours so I'm not worried about my speeds as that's way faster than when I use ed2k, I'm amazed.

I think I know what I'm doing now, no problems so far.

Thanks, I followed your guide and I'm now downloading a Wii game.

I've never used torrents before just ed2k so I decided to try uTorrent to see how fast I could get Wii games as I get fantastic speeds for films, mp3 etc using ed2k/eMule.

I'm going to check out your other uTorrent vids. Can you point me to a good link in terms of seeding correctly so I get good speeds?

i believe by getting "good speeds" your referring to your download speed? which is irrelevent to seeding as seeding referrs to uploading the file.

However if u are trying to upload a file and want to seed it, then inquire with your ISP about your internet upload speed, and that will be the maximum speed you can upload at.
