  • 5-10-15-20-25.... lightweight

  • 13 people are just dicks. I bet this video saved people a lot of stress, including me!

  • @BarefootArizona Lol thanks, man. Yeah. I have learned that it's sometimes better to just spend the extra money and save the headache and even save yourself from spending more money later. lol

  • I'm not saying this guy did it, but I hate when people talk shit on "ebay" as if EBAY is the company that made your product which sucked.

Ebay's saved be thousands and thousands of dollars over the years, and if you don't shop there YUR DUM

  • @BarefootArizona I wasn't talking shit about ebay. I love ebay. And amazon is great too. But people need to be aware that ebay is where I purchased the dumbbells. So if you're going to buy dumbbells that look like these on ebay, be sure that you don't buy these dumbbells.

  • @professionalblogger I knew you weren't. It was just advice for other people who might be confused about ebay. Sorry I was off the topic.

  • @BarefootArizona Gotcha, man. It's cool. No biggie. :)

  • Ironmaster are my favorite Adjustable Dumbbells.

  • @KittyGetAway Oh man, I just checked out those Ironmaster dumbells on Amazon, and they're SWEET! Out of 55 reviews, all of them were 5 stars except one which was a four. I'm definitely getting those. It takes like 10 seconds to change the weight. Thanks for the recommendation ; )

  • @BarefootArizona They really are great. I have had a pair for over a year with NO Problems. I actually went out and upgraded to the 120lb add on kid, as well as purchased an extra pair of handles for less weight changes and a second set of dumbbells. They feel great in the hand, solid - no wobble, no wiggle, no worries. If you search BodyBuilding Forums you will see alot of praise, that and Powerblocks - which are a quicker change but less formed like a traditional Dumbbell and IM's. Good luck!

  • @KittyGetAway Again, thanks for the advice. I'm gettin em ; )

  • Friend, those weights are very dangerous, get rid of them before you get hurt.

I have Bowflex dumbells, they work much better.

I would also recommend heavier weights to stay in the 8-10 reps

  • Wanderland.

  • son, you need to hit heavy ass weights and consume food like a manimal and bulk the fuck up. you dont need p90x.

  • @likeomgutube I've gained 30 pounds with P90X, brother. I went from 135 pounds to 165 pounds.

  • @professionalblogger in how long did you gain 30 pounds with P90X from 135 pounds to 165 pounds.

  • @jzRjokerz Before I tell you, you have to understand that I was pretty inconsistent with the program. My best gains were 15 pounds in 60 days. The other 15 pounds came here and there... It took me 3 years to gain 30 pounds. Had I been consistent, I could have gained about 23 pounds in 90 days. Obviously, some of this weight is storage and fat. Not all muscle.

  • @jzRjokerz 15 pounds in 60 days of PERFECT training and diet... Then, the other 15 pounds came over a 2 to 3 year time frame, of un-perfect, on and off training. Sorry for the huge delay. I have been sick with cat scratch fever for 2 months.

  • Maybe the manufacturer took the flys in chest too literally....

  • How do you do P90x in that tiny room?

Do you like move the bad against the wall or something.

Also yeah those are sum dangerous weights i wouldnt want to work out with those.

  • My initial thought when you came onto the camera and said "YO WHATS UP YOUTUEB, I'VE GOT SOME DUMBBELS" while topless was that I thought you were a gimp

  • @HazHib lol

  • they dont look good to be honnest last thing u need your curling or doing flys and the weight drops on your chest or stomach..

  • what would u do if ur falling out of a plane and u dont have a parachute,,all u have is a dumbbell in ur arm,,,what would u do ?

  • @TheSerbianwizard gradually build up speed spinning round the dumbbell, the gyroscopic effect will slow your fall and you'll have a nice soft landing if you make the dumbbell hit the ground first, hahaha

  • @ghodium can i incorporate this technique while im having sex with girls ??? if not,,then ur technique sucks,,cause why would you want to survive if u know u wont be able to have sex with women,,,,

  • @ghodium 2 zero's walking on the street when they see an eight, and one zero sais to the other zero,,damn bro, look how hard that guy tightened his belt

  • @TheSerbianwizard lol you're mad

  • @ghodium not being mad makes you normal,,being normal means you aint special,,so if madness makes me stand out and be special,,,then i am glad i mad

  • Wouldn't be pretty if your doing light bench press with them. Could do some serious damage to your face!!

  • Yeah'I'd rather stick with the old school set up of dumbbell handles & plates. At least if you have a spin lock set like that you know if 1 part collar is loose - you can kinda feel it & can tighten it again. That set you got is "No Bueno" Man !

  • I think I seen those on Dicks site too LOL . Glad I'm getting the Powerblocks.

  • filming sucks you suck have a nice day

  • SpongeBob blankets LMAO

  • Those are Sunny Dumbells.

  • Do you think your muscles are gonna give a fuck whether your weights are shiny and worth 400 bucks? Stick with the old school ones your muscles wont mind ;)

  • wtf is p90x ? lol

  • Thanks for the warning, my bro was looking at getting a pair of those. I've had the Bowflex 552s since they very first came out and haven't had a single problem with them. I use them 4-5 times a week and they pay for themselves with their safety and the amount of time they save you.

  • im getting motion sickness watching this video.

  • Hey wats behind that green paper

  • @trustno1nes Nothing is behind the green paper. It's a home made green screen.

  • i watch your other videos and you look skny but hot and now wow you are really hot i think that i love u more lol

  • Try powerblock dumbbells. They lock and have a 10 year warranty!

  • Hey thanks for making the video because I have always wondered about the chances of that happening with those dumbells and now I know for sure that they are exactly what I don't want in a set of dumbells. Apparently it would not be a good idea to be wearing thongs when you are using them.

  • thanks for the info bud. i`ll make sure to stay clear of those pieces of crap.

  • You should of bought the bowflex or nautilus selecttech dumbbells. Those only go up to 25lbs anyway bro.

  • haha hey r you pumped or something man every 10 seconds your like "it pisses me off"x4 and look like you were ready to punch the guy who sold you those p90x hahaha

  • BUY POWERBLOCKS! saved my life and money

  • I think you dropped some muscle back there

  • There are better quality adjustable dumbbells that are the same style as those, (bayou has some good ones) that are cheaper than bowflex/powerblock and shouldn't fall apart on you. Those look like the Sunny ones no?

  • What's the name of them?

  • you pay for what you get..... bottom line

  • LOL he doesnt even want to say the price of them he bought them on ebay but doesnt know the price of them? he doesnt want to say because he knows he got ripped off.

  • LOL i laughed so hard when I just seen the dumbbells. Dude if you can afford p90x you can afford some nice dumbbells. Just looking at those dumbbells you would know there cheap.

  • LMAO! classic weight fall lol...what if you so happened to be laying on a bench and doing a bench press with these freeweight. They would seriously hurt you if it were to land on your face and thats no joking matter. thanks for the video however. i went ahead and purchased from the best the PB-PTS2.5-50 (powerblock 2.5 - 50lbs per hand).

  • Use them backwards idiot

  • Dang ! Was that Patrick ?holy crabby patties!!

  • My family has reebok adj. dumbells, and one side was loose and the bar slid off so all the weights on one side could have smashed a foot or a face (if a workout like that is dared.)

  • Get bowflex weights

  • So your still doing P90x? I'm going to do it after christms..buying used weights, 160lsb of steel weights.

  • yeah...i feel u, thank god i listened to the sports authority guy and bought the Bowflex dumbells......couldnt be any happier doing p90x with them =D, although they are bulky(expect any adjustable dumbbells to be bulky), they are extreamly secure and they go from 5 lbs. to 52.5 lbs. Anyways, keep up the good work with P90X, its working for me....looking foward to start from day one all over again

  • lmfao!! be careful bro

  • get spinlocks

  • I like the Xmark Adjustable Dumbbells. They look sharp and no weights fall out

  • wow, you really seem pissed about these

so I guess it's powerblock vs bowflex for me then...

  • buy bowflex

  • oh crap i got scared at 0:10. I only have 1 type of dumbbell that i work out with so I'm glad i haven't hurt my toes ;)

  • everytime i go to rippedjourney it sends me to GOOGLE page =[ im piss

  • Dude what do you weigh in this video? Just wondering, its not meant as an insult, you're more ripped than I am I know that much. I don't even know what those dumbbells are but they seem to be a cheap copy of the real thing called "PowerBlock". Those have a 10 year guarantee and as far as it slipping off goes, it never will on PowerBlocks. They seem expensive yes, but actually are far cheaper than a whole set of dumbbells which they replicate.

  • @nhwtfman Funny you say that. You want to know what else is funny? This is a Youtube video... not a film. lol :) If I were making a film, I would've done a little better job than this. :)

  • @nhwtfman Lol, man. My Kodak Zi6 doesn't have that capability. It has the ability to stop, and create a new file, altogether. Then, merging the files together in a program like Premiere takes an extra hour, because my computer is so slow. Point being, I created this video, wanted to get it up as quickly as possible, and that's what I did. Lol. If you really are that upset about me spinning the cam off the tripod, why don't you just fast forward?

  • Comment removed

  • @nhwtfman if only your mom had put in the effort to abort your sorry ass

  • @nhwtfman y do u even care

  • @nhwtfman LOL. you fail.

  • What kind are they so that I know what to watch out for?

  • LOL!

  • haha "thats ghetto! that is ghetto!" lol but ya those dont look very good...ive never had adjustable ones and dont really plan on it

  • Dumb dumbbells.

  • can't you sue their asses

  • are those from Stamina?

  • @LoLBlTCH Those look like Stamina

  • Hey, do you know where I can get adjustable dumbbells that can be 25lbs to 50lbs, I need them for my biceps, triceps, shoulders, and pecks.

  • Dude get some 18 inch spinlock dumbbells

  • what brand are these?

  • BowFlex 1090a are absolute garbage - 5 weeks after getting them the lager discs have stared to fall off, due to the plastic(!) nodules on the discs not being gripped correctly.

  • i ment to say bought them from ebay**

  • they could be good weights it could be the fact that maybe you doubt them from ebay and not the actual website but who knows lol you should get powerblocks

  • What are the brand name of these dumbbells?

  • believe me you will outgrow 75lbs pretty fast .. besides ironmaster dumbbells can be dropped and they look like real dumbbells, is made of iron hence its name .. they are slower to change weights though but why do u need to changed weight super fast ??

you also need to get yourself an incline/flat bench .. ironmaster has one and is great .. im not advertising the brand .. i have the dumbbells and bench

  • don't get bowflex man .. you will outgrow the weight soon .. the 90lbs one are $600 .. thats too much money for a piece of crap that is made of plastic

i would recommend you to get Ironmaster adjustable dumbbells .. look them up on google .. they are 75lbs for $500 and you can buy an add-on kit to make them go to 120lbs ....

  • I think I accidentally just deleted someone's comment. My bad, dude. You can put it back up.

  • dude wats wrong with you saying this is ghetto as exmaple of a bad thing,, and stuff there are pple frm da ghetto what you know bout that? ur jus lil white boy fucka ass

  • you get what you pay for with anything tbh, If theyre cheap theres probably a reason. Youre looking good though

  • @fightingfoo2 haha dude true story. I'm thinkin about the Bowflex ones. I tried them today! They're SWEET!

  • @professionalblogger only prob with bowflex ones are they are really wide, im thinking of some soloflex ones they cant fall off.

  • thx man.....hmm how much weight do u use? for like bicep and triceps? i m gonna start using like 15s for the whole workout from now.....shoulders would be like 10 :) thx for the info btw!!!

  • The weight I use, depends on the workout.

For example: I can do 25 pounds with good form (without using back) for standard curls.

For triceps, it depends the exercise.

For shoulders, I would say 25lbs +. I just need some dumbbells that allow me to lift more.

  • i have those and theyre completely safe..maybe u have a faulty one

my only problem is they dont go up much...25 lbs can only get one so far

  • They could be faulty. When there's one faulty one, though, there's probably more.

25 pounds isn't really enough for me, either. Mainly for the shoulder exercises. I'll definitely be thinking about some new weights, soon!

  • get the bowflex adjustable ones, they are way better

  • I watched a review of the Bowflex, and they're pretty wide. I don't know what I'm gonig to do yet. Bowflex was my first option, though.

  • heyyyy man im on p90x to and i didnt get much results finishing up this week and startin fresh next week again.............................. i was wondereing i start off with 25 lb dumbbells at first and proper pull ups then decrease to 15 lbs (still crappy form ) and use a chair to help with pull ups... it that ok ???? its gettin me pissed off to like seriously im like killin myself but i cant even lift the weight anymore cuz im so tired... i also take NO Xplode and whey protein

  • It's totally cool to start the P90X over again.

My best suggestion would be to lower your weight, so you can do at least 6 - 8 reps (for size) or 10 - 12 reps (for tone). Also, use different weights for different workouts.

Using a chair to help with pullups is perfectly okay. I do this, because I am tired after a few sets of pullups.

As for supplements, I only take a multivitamin and some other general things. Nothing meant for muscle building.
