I would suggest getting some kind of case and maybe a screen protector. The case raises the edges of the phone and makes it more difficult for the sides of your pocket to touch the screen, and the screen protector will protect against the scratches, etc...

I got mine the day before it was officially released. I work on cars all day so I'm not as careful as I should and have never had a screen crack. Physics tell us you put some kind of pressure either all at once or over time for the screen to crack. You can call me a fucktard too, but everyone here thinks you had some part in messing it up. And by the way I got mine swapped out for a brand new one with the lastest software....now it's prefect.
