The difference between Nazism and Communism is that Communism promises freedom, opportunity, prosperity and self fulfilment but delivers tyranny, limited prospects, shabby living conditions. Nazism promises racial persecution and extermination, a glorious foreign policy and foreign conquest, and it delivers on all these. They tell you they are going to persecute "inferior races" and they do. So on the one hand you buy a good idea that is a fraud; on the other you by a bad idea that is genuine

actually the German army scored some significant victories against the Russians at first and had the potential to knock out the soviets but when Hitler diverted armor for the Kiev encirclement and thusly delay the assault on Moscow, thats where I believe it fell apart
