we have an 1983 mack cf (former tulsa,ok e9) and that thing is a pumpin fool and screams down the hiway. doesnt turn very good and you have to turn the a bazillion times for full turn. awesome truck though. also have 82 ford f-700 that is a pumpin fool.
Hi My Name Is Rick. I love The Videos. when you make the videos Will you try to record most or all of the response. Or have two of the same video, for exaple with this one you couls have one 10 min and the other 45min. I am a firefighter in New Jersey and just wanted to see every thing you guys do. Again Excelent Video keep them coming. I have subscribed. Thanks Rick
One hell of a long response for a mutual aid fire of any sort, thats for sure. Either the fire was super huge, or there were far and few companies in the general vicinity. Either way I'm guessing the Barn was a total loss if the original department requested a 45 minute response for tankers. Nice Video.
Wow lots of Q! Our new Tanker just got a Q, i don't think the old one needed it, Pigs would have to fly before the old tanker got 0-50 in under 2 minutes! What was the call you were going on 45 minutes away? Nice vid.
Much of rural PA lacks something you city folks don't understand how we live with out. The fire hydrant. Thus, the need of large trucks, with large tanks. Big fire, big water.
@CraftyOffRoadAmb < I live in rural California. Myself and some of my neighbors have fire wells. I retro fitted my house for sprinklers (wet) with a 20,000 gal. water silo fed by 195 horse CAT diesel fire pump. Granted that's a bit of an overkill but i'd rather pay a little to fix water damage than lose my entire house. Besides, on several occasions our tankers have filled up at my or the other similar systems scattered about our area.
@CraftyOffRoadAmb < If you're going to have a rural settlement you have to be a complete idiot not to have a Fire Tank. It's not that hard to build if you know how to work with concrete. Or you can buy one, they have 5,000 gallon, plastic tanks at home depot.
Glad to see they follow US fire admins guildlines for stopping at all red lights and stop signs, before proceeding thru them.....:(
