All public option will do is create a more competive market driving down the high costs that have gone in the pockets of private insurance companies for many years! The government has NO intention of taking over healthcare!!!!

One thing I've not heard the plan address is the crazy hours medical staff puts in, with no breaks in 8 hours, or 24 hour shifts. How good can care be if you've been working for 24 hours? Well it can't all be changed in one minute--but coverage does not equal quality. In fact, my co-worker has had to change doctors multiple times because of an error in the original surgery. The company is out of pocket for the undiagnosed condition, etc.

I been to America and most doctors dont want to be bothered with calls about their patients and can get mean to nurses if they call. Medicare with supplemental means patients get tested A LOT for often unnecessary things or end stage disease diagnose things can't treat because make lots of money-like milking cash cows. I think your health care reform doctors will do same and make USA go bankrupt since they do to medicare
