Also if you know Mr. Williams who provided the commentary for NBC, let him know that the commentary was good, but it would have been helpful if he explained some of the techniques better.
I am hoping this is the real dude who went to the '08 games. You did well and I am very glad to have seen your highlights on the web. I did have a question, it seems that 'newaza' ground fighting is all but not allowed during international competition. Why is that? There were only a few matches that allowed the competitors to work some ground techniques. But in seeing lots of stuff on the web, i.e. Youtube, there are lots of moves that should and could be allowed.
I think that all depends on the referees, but some like to see groundwork, others don't. Also if ref is bias towards one judoka who he knows has a disavantage on the ground against his opponent, he'll stand it up.

yai know arron ive seen him at some competitions hes talented for his age but needs to get older
