Fedor's loss is similiar to Jon Jones losing because of his 12 2 6 elbow on Matt Hamil. Jones would have finished hamil & fedor would have finished Kohsaka if the illegal elbows would not have taken place. As far as luck goes, there is no luck in mma @ the pro level! These guys know their opponents inside & out. they study every move. Werdum knew he had to get fedor in his guard to win. If you watch a slow motion replay, he pulls guard. Fedor's punch never dropped him. Pulling guard=submission

he is not 32-1 he is 32-2 because he lose before Fabrico Werdum. his real first lost was against Tsuyoshi Kohsaka TKO (Cut) at Rings – King of Kings 2000 Block B he became 4-1 in 2000

Kohsaka really lost the fight due to the illegality, but since Fedor's cut was severe he could not continue hence Kohsaka was allowed to move forward giving Fedor a loss. The BS part of this was the tournament was over for that night. Fedor already beat Arona, then this technical win shouldve moved him forward since the next fight wasnt until 2 more months,
