In teh UAE internet sensorship is a HUGE problem, it stops normal browsing and maes everything a nnightmare to find, censorship can also be used by the government to block information during election etc and can be use to aid monopols by blocking other competitive websites.

Forget the Law. An aribtrary "court order" to stop your speech (without need for a law or a precedent) can be issued. Ignoring this will get you in gaol for ontempt of court.

eg Albert Langer advising that voters mark their ballots 1,2,2,2,2,2,2,2... so that all boxes were marked as required but preferences were impossible to distrbute.

Arsenic is 'a natural event' too, doesn't mean it might not be harmful to us in some way. Fundamentally, the global warming argument is anthropocentric- we are just looking to keep our environment in the same state that we know it.. dealing with an uncertain climate is just too scary, so it's better to err on the side of caution. I don't care if global warming is real or not, the argument is still the same- using fossil fuels isn't sustainable, so we need to find another solution.
